I was in Revelstoke last week for the mountain coaster, and decided to came to Cypress today and see what’s the different. It’s fun for sure, but I hope there were more steeper one. The wait time it’s a bit long, but I think it is due to the safety ~

Its a really fun activity to do in the summer but if you don’t have a car it is quite troublesome to go up and down Cypress mountain cause the shuttle has only 2 time slots 8am or 7pm. It was expensive getting a taxi and Uber is a hail mary that might not even take you down the freakin mountain which sucks. There are limited food options when you’re there and after doing the coaster there’s nothing much left to do.

Cypress mountain has good scenic beauty. We went on top. In summer time there is also snow and a cool climate. There are lot of parking spaces.Restroom facilities are there but not neat. There is a view point on the way to the top. We could see the whole Vancouver.

Lots of fun for all ages! You have to reserve a timeslot online ahead of time. Once you arrive there's plenty of parking. Washrooms are only available at the Black Mountain Lodge. Head to the Cypress Creek Day Lodge and scan your ticket's QR code at one of the available machines (or talk to guest services) to dispense your ticket card. Once you have your ticket card, head outside towards the chairlifts and scan your ticket to open the gate. It's a beautiful chairlift ride up! Once you're up at the top, there's a line for the coaster. The coaster itself went faster than I had initially thought which was great! You can really whip around the curbs pretty fast. Very scenic ride. I would definitely recommend 2 rides per person.

Truly an amazing experience. This has become an annual experience for me. I think it’s great for many reasons. Firstly, it’s the perfect way to spend 1 hour+ in the mountains while doing something completely unique. Secondly, it’s a great way to show new people the true beauty of living in BC. Thirdly, it’s actually quite fast and intense at some points, all while you have the option to slow down if you’re uncomfortable. I absolutely recommend this for anyone who hasn’t tried it already.

Amazing!! We catch the last minute 6:35 for the chair left. The ride was amazing , elevate your adrenaline level to a higher level. Driving up to the top of the mountain was interesting and view was amazing. Try to book earlier time around 5-5.30 , so you can avoid missing it.Kids like it and asks to redo it soon.

Great and awesome experience. You have to book your slot online. Once there, take the ticket and go to the sky tram and it will take you all the way up the mountain. Once there, the staff will guide you through the rest of the steps, 29$ for the ride is worth and a must try!

I would like to share a very unfortunate experience I had with my Mom and my Son today. We were on the 12:30 booking for the Eagle Coaster Ride. My name is Holly Schultz and my Moms name is Nova Staples, she was the last in the 3 of us to ride down. I want to say first of all the fellow who was at the top of the ride before we began shared you don't have to follow the signs to brake when posted just go on down it's safe to do so. My mother and I did not follow those instructions and did follow the braking posts on each sharp turn. I went down no problem at all at a safe pace following the signs. My mom is what my concern was, her experience was aweful and she got off the ride in tears I was horrified and she will not return. She is a senior and just like a child at the age of 8 they will choose a safe pace to enjoy that experience safely. However, there was this boy behind her that chose to run right up behind her and bumped her aggressively the whole way down. He even build up speed to torment her and when arriving at the stop he has the audacity to say she was going to slow. I was appalled when she stopped and was so distraught. This kid ruined her one experience. I wanna say it was my Birthday and Im sad this happened. The staff were very sympathetic but offered no compensation at all. The reason for this much needed review was I don't think she should have paid for this ride is my first thing and secondly I HUGELY suggest no one goes down til one ahead gets to the bottom. I hope no one ever experiences this again.

A surprisingly great experience for such a short ride, Eagle Coaster is a 1-2 person (1 adult and 1 child max) ride from the top to the bottom.Buy your tickets in advance as you will have to book a timeslot. Ticket machines dispense RFID tags/cards which open the electronic gates to the chair lift inky 15mins before your scheduled slot. The ride consists of a chair lift up the slopes with a good view at the top and a long wait for the coaster down. Each chair lift is accompanied by a coaster seat and they load both people and the equipment on the same device platform. Staff are very pleasant and provide good instruction for preparation. Note that your bags will be taken down separately as there is not enough room in the coaster.Kids will love the ride. A single handle controls speed and brakes. I recommend going full speed all the way for the best experience. It is quite visceral especially around corners. A camera takes photos/video as you go down the mountain and a booth at the end is available to view and purchase for about $15. In my opinion, it is pricey but worth it for the natural shots.

A great mini-roller coaster for all ages. Gorgeous, relaxing chair lift to the top and even more beautiful and exhilarating on the ride down! Definitely recommend booking tickets in advance and booking two rides, you’re not going to be satisfied with just one. The wait times when you reach the top are rather long and it can get hot in the Summer but they offer water to people in line which is nice!
