My name is Bruce and my brother Brian booked two days of fishing and have no regrets. Our captain and guide Jason was very good at getting us into fish and was always checking and setting lines too insure we had the best chance of getting into fish. Sunset fishing charter- David is excellent captain, he knows where to catch fish and how to catch various fish in the ocean, he is the best teacher for the first time fishing trip. We caught a big halibut under his helps and had an impressive day with David till sun down. See you next year David! Highly recommended David- the best captain!

I suppose I should start by saying that I only have one other charter experience to compare Sunset with, and they are not in Prince Rupert.The reason I haven't tried anyone else is that from my first three-day with them to my most recent trip I haven't had any reason to shop around for a different outfit. My time fishing with this company and its staff over the last five years has been nothing but exemplary. From their solid understanding of the ocean they fish to their ability to put you in some amazing locations with the best chances to catch fish I continue to be impressed.

Truly the best Charter operator my family has ever had. SUPERB EXPEREINCE!!Most comfortable, capable boat I have had the pleasure to fish on. David Eng who is the Charter owner and operator/guide was very very capable. A pleasure to fish with. I learnt more about west coast fishing from him than any other charter I have been on. He worked very hard for us and made the experience a joy. My three girls enjoyed the time on the water and I would recommend Sunset Charters for someone looking to bring the family fashing. Fishing and weather were great and it was nice that Dave offered opportunities to look at seals and whales during our two days. He listened to what we wanted to do, and he delivered. That in of itself is truly amazing. We were able to do what we wanted, when we wanted and he only offered best suggestions to accomplish those requests. This was going to me my last chance at hiring a charter, if this one turned out to be like the others I was going to buy my own boat. Luckily for me I get to fish on the cheap now and just pay Dave at Sunset Charters for my future trips. Save your money and don't buy a boat, just hire Sunset Charters.

Best fishing trip ever. Dave and Sophie are both gracious hosts & extremely knowledgeable. They are both patient with us newbies and provide everything you need to make a wonderful trip. Dave's extensive knowledge of the area and salmon habitats are impressive. If you want to catch amazing fish and have a great stress free time, Sunset Charters is leaps and bounds above the rest. We went on a 3 day charter, the first day we had Dave as our guide and it was a great day catching Salmon, Lings and finnished up with some crabbing.The second and third day we had Bobby as our guide, both days were highly enjoyable and action packed.The guides were amazing! Both were knowledgeable and enjoyable to chat with the entire day; they both kept us in the action catching fish while we were out.It was my first time ocean fishing, but it won't be the last. I'll be booking with Sunset Charters again.Thanks for the great experience!

We fished 3 days with Sunset Charters and had the absolute best experience. Blake went above and beyond our expectations and provided plenty of fish and meeting most of our limits each day. My buddies and I did both fishing and an overnight stay at their camp as part of a bachelor trip. We had two boats and both Dave and Blake were awesome. Extremely knowledgeable and professional. They work hard to make sure you have an amazing time. By far one of the best trips I've ever done. Highly recommend the overnight charter.

Went out with Dave last week.and had a great trip. He was super busy making sure everyone had a chance at some decent fishing.
