Evelina's Nail & Medi-Spa

Lan is amazing. Meticulous with her work and always ensures my nails are perfect. I used to find that I switched nail salons every 3rd fill or so because the technicians didn't seem to care after that many times but have been going to Evelina's (only Lan) for the past 6 fills and I couldn't be happier.The place is clean, the owner is super friendly and clearly ensures her staff take pride in returning customers.

I took down one star because of a recent appointment, my brows were great but the under arm waxing and pedicure weren’t. I still had some left and had to get them myself and I was disappointed with the nails. The cutting was uneven and the design I asked for was done roughly. I’ve had amazing past appointments but this one left me feeling dissatisfied.

It was my first time going there to get the shellac polish done. They first admitted to do a design on my nail as I requested and half way said it costs more which I didnt like their attitude and could have said earlier! Also my nail got chipped after a day (Which supposed to stay at least a week)!Not recommend this place!

My experience at this nail salon was fantastic. The staff is kind, enthusiastic, caring and attentive. The facility is very nice; the pedicure chairs are unreal with massage and reclining capacities. The pedicure includes hot stones, which is awesome and something I have never seen before. I do not live in Calgary but if I did this would be my go-to salon without a single doubt.

Ive been sitting on the idea of writing this review but I finally decided to cause it may help you guys for the future.I've had these nails for 8 days as a reference for the photos.1) i made my appt for 230- I arrive at 225 and I'm sitting there till about 245 and no one's really said hello so I'm staring at them awkwardly. I also noticed a whole new group of people working and it seemed like there was so much tension and animosity.2) I sat down and showed the picture of what I wanted in terms of shape and color (but I wanted mine a little longer) cause it was a new set and specified I want a manicure because my cuticles needed some work and I also wanted her to push my cuticle back a bit. She just started sticking the fake nails on so I said once again can we do a manicure cause my cuticles need some work and she said she'd do it at the end. I just let it be and figured she'd do what's best.3) the entire time I was sitting there she was completely distracted/frustrated with her colleagues and barely paying attention to my nails. I understand we all have days that are tough and things are hectic but its not fair to your client to be detached from what your doing when I still have to pay for the service and your time.4) the last coat she put on my right hand she barely let it dry under the lamp so it's kind of sticky feeling and has started peeling off at the edges.5) the nails are so thick and have noticable bumps6) I get to the counter to pay and the girl tells me its going to be an extra charge for the coffin" shape I requested. Maybe I cant distinguish nail shapes well but from the picture I showed I was sure it was square. So I showed her the picture and said no I got this... and she said no this is coffin its $5 more. I genuinely dont care about the extra cost- it's the "gotcha" aspect that irritated me beyond words. If she believed this was the shape I was wanting she should have given me a heads up and said it'll be an extra $5 and let me decide if I wanted to go through with the extra charge.I think getting your nails is a getaway in a sense and it's your time to be pampered. The morale is so important in an establishment and the energy of an individual who's literally right in your face can totally throw you off if its negative.I wish you guys the best and hope you go back to the salon with the exceptional work and warm loving atmosphere."

Extremely poor appointment management! Called 4-times for an AM appointment and was 4-times deferred to PM - not even making an AM appointment for two or three days in advance! Me and my friends will not return to Evelina's - maybe management has changed - it never was like that.Very poor performance

Took my daughter there for mommy and daughter pedicures. They were so nice and did an amazing job. My daughter really enjoyed it.

My experience there was great, fast service and very friendly. I am making another appointment soon

Walked in on a whim mid afternoon. Was greeted promptly and asked for a pedicure with nail polish. Given a seat within 5 minutes.The quality of the pedicure is solid. Clean up and nail shaping was done well and respectfully.Languages spoken: English, Mandarin and Vietnamese.

I had the Deluxe Mani-Pedi Shelac. My experience was fantastic, they fit me in on short notice. The place was clean and everyone was super friendly. Amy is absolutely adorable. She did an amazing job, I felt so relaxed in the massage chair every she did both the Mani and Pedi. My hands and feet are so soft and my nails look great. I highly recommend!
