Really good! Facility seems spacious, clean and the decor is pretty. My friends and I got the bottle of momo peach ($26) to share between 3 people and it’s pretty value for drinking out. We also got the octopus karaage which was great! Crispy and not too greasy, well seasoned (not too salty either), good batter to meat ratio. My friend loved her creamy udon which is lobster-based and the shrimp was fresh. It was topped with a crispy croquette. I got the smoked duck ramen and it’s so good! I highly recommend that if you love duck :) The broth was delicious and light, which is refreshing since ramen is usually heavy/creamy but this just hit the spot.

I was up in Toronto several weeks ago, and I wanted to write this review then but had forgotten. Boku in the Distillery District is a must go! The atmosphere when you walk is warm and welcoming. The staff is absolutely amazing and will definitely guide you through the menu. Their cocktails and specialty drinks are great and hit all the right notes. Make sure to order the gyoza and / or deep-fried brie for the appetizer. Both were incredible and leave you wanting just one more. As for dinner, the beef udon is the way to go. The six hour braised short rib is unparalleled in both taste and the tenderness of the meat itself. The broth coats everything, and the fresh udon noodles are wicked! Make sure to stop by and show them some love.

Great service, food was pretty good, I think I put too much of the sauce on my poke bowl though!

Nice place. Visited this place while exploring distillery district in Toronto with family. Had a few appetizers an main courses. All preparations were amazing and the service was great too. Nice casual atmosphere and music too played well. Overall great experience.

Amazing Japanese restaurant in the Distillery District. A lil pricey for me but amazing quality and taste. We got the karaage, veggie miso ramen, and katsu curry udon. Great service and atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

This is somewhere to go if you’re looking for Westernized Japanese food in a convenient location surrounded by tasteful decor. Avoid it if you are looking for authentic Japanese food. Our ramen was one of the worst I’ve tried in Toronto and the udon was similar to something I could have easily made under 15 minutes at home. The sushi, which was recommended to us by the server, had an interesting combination of savoury and sweet flavours but was not quite our taste. Overall, it was costly and unimpressive.

Food was amazing and authentic! Atmosphere and location was really good! Servers were super friendly! Only minor complaint was that it was pretty slow, probably because the restaurant was full (took an hour for the food to arrive). Would come again!

Fun small and modern Japanese eatery. Some twists on the classics and some fusion dishes. Located in distillery district, makes a great date night place to hit up, or if you're in for something Asian. Serves sake brewed next door.

Located at the Distillery district, be ready for parking space hunt, then walk leisurely to the restaurant. Their servers are quick and accurate, they can make changes on the fly too! Their ramens are great, and adventurous companion can try Japanese curry. If sake is your reason for being here, it’s pricey but all worth it. We loved and enjoyed our Christmas lunch.
