I agree that Lauren and Dr Klok are very pleasant to deal with. I had a minor procedure on my face and once the redness is gone I am sure the scar won't show. Dr Klok did a great job of hiding the incision in my laugh lines. The reasons for the lower rating are as follows. I went to Emerg because suddenly after two weeks the swelling increased and there was a growing area of redness. Two doctors suspected early infection and I was given a course of antibiotics. I thought Dr Klok should be aware of this and I sent a photo. I got a call back from Lauren who said the swelling is what we" would expect. She said "she" saw no signs of infection. I mentioned that I was supposed to receive a call in 2-3 weeks to let me know if the cancer was completely removed but hadn't heard anything. Lauren said that probably means there is nothing to be concerned about. Then I mentioned pressure over the bridge of my nose and behind my eye. I was told to take Ibuprofen. Well

I had breast surgery and am thankful I went to Dr. Klok. My first communications were with Lauren, and Lauren is excellent and responsive to messages. When I entered the office, Germaine greeted me with a warm welcome and was so kind. I was referred to Dr. Klok by my family physician, and I had several other consultations before engaging Dr. Klok.Once you meet Dr. Klok and team, you will understand why I put my health in their hands. Dr. Klok is empathetic and caring, and her bedside manner is impeccable. It's heartwarming to find healthcare professionals that care. I couldn't ask for better care and, most importantly, follow-up care. Thank you, Dr. Klok and team, for prioritizing my health.

Dr. Klok and her Medical Office Administrator, Lauren were amazing to deal with. Dr. Klok is a very talented surgeon with a kind and professional bedside manner; I am so impressed with her work, I would totally recommend anyone to see her!

my friend wanted to do her eyelid surgery like 2 months ago she went over there for consultation they give her 3 appointments but they cancelled all of them last second by saying her supplies aren't in yet they have no cooperation with each other 0 communications with others i don't recommend anyone to go there any waste their time.

I was so pleasantly surprised when I discovered my GP had coincidentally referred me to a provider well-known amongst the Vancouver queer community. Having never had surgery before, Dr. Klok created ease and safety for me in her confidence and calm. Dr.Klok included me in my care-plan and walked me through how to best incorporate my requests while avoiding any potentially unwanted outcomes. She is highly skilled, her office staff were always friendly and her MOA Lauren is the absolute best - truly.

I was a little nervous to have a mole on my forehead removed. Dr. Klok was fantastic. She answered all of my questions in the consultation and made me feel super comfortable. The removable went incredibly well. Now, here's barely anything visible! It's like nothing was ever there. Barely even a scar! The other moles that I had removed on my back are healing very well too. Dr. Klok set reasonable expectations for the healing process and I felt very comfortable and informed. I would absolutely recommend her!

Had a disappointing consult with a breast reduction for years of chronic neck and shoulder pain with Dr. Klok. I was running late driving from to West Van from Vancouver and that seemed to get it all off on the wrong foot. Before she even said hello, she told me that my consult would be cut short because I was late. I expected this, because my error shouldn't impact her scheduling for the day, but the abrupt way in which she told/scolded was unnecessary. After examining me she established that I actually wanted a lift (which isn't the case, I was referred for a reduction which is what I believe will help with the chronic pain, but said I would be open to a lift in conjunction, even if that part was not covered by MSP, but she really didn't give me a chance to explain that). I left that day being told to expect a quote via email for a breast lift. Needless to say a 12K quote for a procedure that wasn't what I need or what I came in for is disappointing. Any other surgical consult I have had has been so much more thorough, they ask and LISTEN about the issue, talk about solutions, risks, benefits, etc. If it was just a matter of not having the time to be that thorough, you would think a doctor would reschedule so they can provide effective care vs. waste their time and mine and not even discuss the initial concern. I no longer have a family doctor, so getting another referral and waiting to get in for a consult with another doctor is not as easy as it should be given the state of our current medical system an I'm left with the same chronic pain.

Dr. Klok performed top surgery for me (bilateral mastectomy) and did a fantastic job! I feel better in my body than I have in decades, and I love how I look more than I have in also decades. It just feels like liberation and joy! Thanks so much to Dr. Klok and Lauren and everyone there for making this happen for me.

Dr. Klok and her receptionist Lauren are both super kind and professional. Initially, Dr Klok struck me as someone who is very technically inclined and detail oriented. My top surgery results reflect this first impression and I could not be happier with the outcome (I am now over 3 months post op). Her bedside manner going in to surgery helped me feel confident and trusting. Going into the OR, she welcomed me in and introduced each member of her team. After surgery care was thorough according to my body's healing process, which saw a bit of extra care she did not hesitate to offer. I would 100% recommend Dr. Klok. So happy with my results.
