Great food, great service. After ordering the shawarma plate, I almost had to be rolled out, I was so full. Check it out.

Sudbury's newest Mediterranean fast food spot The Shawarma Shop" is true to its name. They have a focused menu around the classic shawarma sandwich or plates. I grew up eating shawarma's in Ottawa and Montreal and can say this is our cities closest thing to an authentic shawarma. This is largely due to one ingredient that is missing from the others

Eating at the Shawarma was a great experience for me as I had never tried this type of food before!! Wow, was I pleasantly surprised! We’ve already gone back three times as a family in about 24 hours! Yes, it’s THAT good. If you love garlic as much as we do, you’ll find yourself craving more of that homemade garlic sauce too!! The portions are great, the chicken and beef are juicy and delicious, the potatoes are bang on with that garlic sauce, and the staff is super friendly. The food is quality, homemade with love, and very fresh. You can tell a lot of thought went in to the creation/design of this place. The colours are fantastic and welcoming! We will be customers for life! A++!!

My experience here was a bit of a mixed bag. I placed my order online for a scheduled pickup time of 12:30 and they were just finishing up when i arrived. It looked very good, thr staff was friendly and the place was very clean. I took a bite and was disappointed. My chicken was dry, and not particularly warm, and not just a bit dry, like it had been carved off the spit some time ago, some of the pieces had a very unpleasant chew. The bread and veggies were all fresh and tasty, but the chicken was a big let down. I have eaten a lot of shawarma at a lot of places, and the potential for a great sandwich is there, but dried out chewy chicken just isn't it.

I ordered a chicken Shawarma.This place has a decent Shawarma experience for me Still doesn’t not taste like authentic shawarma,As i am from Montreal i can tell that by experience where i tried various places for Shawarma.Location: small and cozy location, maintained clean. Decent parking places.Price: average pricing not expensive.Return?: yes, could probably return to try their other menu.

This review may be bias. The food was fresh, the service was great, the portion size was smaller than most places I have been to. I have had Lebanese food, across North America and Europe. The chicken was fatty, and this may be Lebanese “inspired” food but it doesn’t seem authentic. True Lebanese, Arab spice their food better, they do not use deep fried potatoes, or french fries. It wasn’t gross or anything like that, but if you have eaten as many chicken plates as I have, you won’t be satisfied. This place is too North American.

I was in Sudbury for work and looked this place up. The food was great! HOWEVER the girl working was awful. No personality. Didn't greet meet, thank me, say goodbye or anything. She was a tall girl with blonde hair. Maybe she was having a bad day but this is not okay. Because of this I won't return. If you don't appreciate my business I will go elsewhere. Terribly miserable and seemed like she hated her job. Kindness goes a long way and management should be aware of this. You will lose more customers with this type of service. Hopefully something is done to rectify this as the food is really yummy!

Really enjoyed our meal! Felt very authentic and similar to a shawarma shop down south I would always go to. I did feel that the portions were smaller though and the price is way up.I would get 2 chicken shawarma plates loaded to the top for $16 in Niagara then they increased it to $18. I paid double here but it was amazing!

Nice place, shawarmas are good too but chicken was somehow less in amount in both platters and shawarma as compared to the others. Very cooperative staff. Food was fresh and delicious too,

Absolutely love their plates! This one has falafel and chicken as well as fries, garlic sauce, hummus and salad. :) their food is great and the service is usually decent! I’ve had one time where the service wasn’t the greatest, she just seemed to be having a bad day. Otherwise everything is always great!
