Saint Matthew Roman Catholic Parish

We have come to this Parish for 9 years, since the very begining, have felt we belong to it. My (now) teenage daughters love participating in the youth choir. Father Mark and the entire staff are wonderful people.

Amazing parish. Such supportive and wonderful people here.

Located in Glen Abbey area. This is a larger than normal church. Easy access and lots of parking. It has always been a pleasurable experience to attend Mass. Friendly priest and staff. The only issue I have is the acoustics of the church. There is a very strong echo that can make it difficult to hear the mass clearly. Peace be with you...

Beautiful place to come and worship or just be a part of our community. There's always someone kind to help you and or your family.

Lovely and beautiful church

I am so disappointed and appalled at the behaviour of Father Varlaki. Prior to the commencement of my aunts funeral, this man chose to start a rude, disrespectful, and entirely inappropriate exchange over the pandemic. His comments, including calling me and my elderly parents “Covidiots” and shooing us to our seats like dirty animals, was beyond offensive and discriminatory. How can a man proceed to talk about kindness, generosity and calling us brothers and sisters during the funeral when minutes prior he was treating people like garbage? Hypocrisy at its finest! I hope you take a minute, Father Varlaki to re-evaluate your “calling”, I think someone got the wrong number!!

A well calibrated social distanced Parish thanks to the precautions taken by Pastor Father Allen Varlaki. It is very safe and accommodating which gives parishioners a good feeling.

Attended a wedding here and the fill in priest did a nice job. It's a big church with a great organist.

Beutiful place with nice people

It's a beautiful big modern church with a multi cultural congregation. The service was quick and lively unlike so many in Canadian churches (sorry). Good hymn choice Cantor lady!
