Today we received the worst customer service in the 50 yrs we've been dealing with RBC.Waiting on branch manager to make contact so this can be sorted out. Aside from losing a death certificate in just 3 days and stating it probably got shredded so bring in a new one,but also insisting a widow make an appointment with financial advisor during grieving period, that she didn't want.

Try to avoid this branch at all cost. I went to Upper gage at Mohawk branch to get my account summary. After explaining for a long time why I needed the bank account summary from x month to latest date, the representative gave me all the documents. Very next day I was going through my account transactions and I figured out RBC bank charged me $5 per account summary document which doesn't make any sense. Why do you have pay for your account summary when you are paying hefty monthly fees already. On the top of that RBC representative didn't even care to get a consent before charging my account. Most of my enquiries are solved by manager in this branch considering the knowledge base of most representative in this branch.

What a way to treat long term customers.The branch manager would rather call the police than call their supervisor to help find a solution to a problem. Absolutely in awe with RBC! I had called and spoke w/ a representative Dec 16/20 after reading that you will be making changes to my daily limits on Jan 9/21. Not only could he help me with my questions but advised me to do a Google review". I then demanded that I speak with a supervisor after multiple requests were dismissed. he then placed my call on hold and then eventually disconnected from me. I have been a customer for over 30 years

Absolutely terrible, got hounded on why I was taking my own money out of my account as many of my transactions appeared to be business related. Sounds about right as I am a sole proprietor. The bank teller rolled his eyes at me several times while seeming exasperated at having to deal with me. At the end of the day, i just needed to make a withdrawal. Getting hassled and treated as though I was inconveniencing the teller is an interesting way to provide customer service. With all the bad reviews on this location it is interesting that head office has done nothing to remedy the problem.

Hope to put no stars but there’s no option for that. Anyways, please avoid this bank at all cost! I’ve been with them for 8 years, everything was fine until the pandemic happened. Piece of advice don’t put your loyalty on something or someone that’s not worth / deserve it. They are the only bank of mine who sent me to litigation. The rest of my banks THEY UNDERSTAND my situation and gave me time to pay my debts. I Hope what you did to me or to your millions of clients won’t come back to you. After 8 years that I never missed my payments this is what I get? just because I only missed some payments for the things that’s not on my control…they did this to me. Well it shows what kind of bank they are. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED. Never ever again RBC.

You should avoid this branch of the bank. Better go to another one with more friendly and customer-oriented staff. After talking to them, I didn't want to deal with this bank again. I hope this doesn't happen again.

Friendly staff, clean inside and following Covid protocols for sure, so I value that. However that's basically all the good I can say. I needed to transfer money to purchase and house and got very specific instructions from my lawyer. They were unwilling to work with me to find any kind of solution. Banking with them for 25 years and the best they can do is tell me my lawyer is wrong. Lawyer is with the same bank but still, nope, can't help you, go figure it out yourself. Guess when you're one of the most profitable companies in Canada you really don't need to care about outcomes for your customers, just tell them they are wrong, talk down to them, and laugh as they continue to bank with you for the next 25 years because what else are you going to do?

Here's to another review about the horrible management. Peter is the most unprofessional bank manager I've ever met in my life, he's like dealing with a child and coming here and seeing these reviews mention him again and again show me no surprise. How is this guy still a manager here, there's literally a guy taking a selfie with cops in the other review and RBC still let's this guy run the bank??I urge anyone and everyone to call head office and report this matter to the highest level of authority (ombudsman).Ridiculous.
