Bigg Smoak Bbq Smokehouse & Grill
Food was delicious, I got the chips with tzatziki and pickle chips. But I was really disappointed by the portions for the pickle spears. I only got 5 spears total. At $8.75 + tax that makes them $2 per pickle spear, which is a bit ridiculous. I won't be ordering those again, it's not good value for the price.

Went with my wife and mom and it was impressive all around. Great local beer and cocktails enjoyed by the ladies. Friendly staff. We all ordered the ‘Big Smoak’ which is 2 meats and 2 sides. Everything was available. The ribs really stood out and add the Texas sauce for a perfect bite. I had the fully loaded baked potato and really enjoyed that. A lot of reasons to go back! My wife spent a few years in Texas and said there wasn’t anything as good there. Highly recommended the trip to Steinbach for this one!

We went to Bigg Smoak in Steinbach today for the first time. It's a pretty large place in an interesting building - apparently it used to be a 50's themed drive-in, and I like the style. We ate on the patio, which is almost completely enclosed, so you get the fresh air, but stay in the shade.....very nice....I hate baking in the sun while I eat.Service was excellent, start to finish. Our server was top notch, friendly, and fast. The food was great! I had brisket and ribs, with sides of beans and a baked potato. The brisket was tender, but not mushy....a good mix of lean and fat. The ribs were tasty and perfectly cooked, though there wasn't a lot of meat on them. Cornbread was perfect, the beans were excellent and did NOT taste like they came from a can.My wife went for the potato skins appetizer as her lunch. She got 5 half-potatos LOADED with pulled pork and other goodies. She was stuffed after 2 pieces.....this one could easily be shared by 3 or 4 people as an appetizer.I like that they bring you a selection of sauces to play with. I'm partial to mustard-based sauces, and their Manitoba Gold was great, along with 3 other more traditional ones.....all delicious.We wanted dessert, but just didn't have room.The prices were VERY reasonable.I wouldn't hesitate for a second to go back.

Brisket was phenomenally great. Loved how it melted in my mouth. Over all, everything was good. The ribs were ok, not fall off the bone and a bit chewy. Chicken was a bit dry. Pulled pork was great. Loved the Mac and cheese. Will be going back for the brisket, pulled pork and Mac n cheese.The service is like they forget about you once they serve you. Tried several times to get another drink but took some time. We went before the dinner rush and maybe half full.

Definitely one of the best BBQ Places in Manitoba.Service 10/10Food 10/10Atmosphere 10/10I wished that I remember the name of our server. She was very polite, friendly, and very helpful!

It was our first time at Bigg's and we were not disappointed at all. The atmosphere feels like taking a trip back in time. The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Finally the food was incredible. My husband devoured his country fried steak and my burnt ends were so good I was thinking about them the rest of the day. We will definitely be back, thank you for an amazing meal!

I normally have fantastic things to say about this place, but lately things have seemed to go down hill.Last night I pre orderd food for takeout for 4 people, 3 hours ahead of time. Pick up time was arranged for 6 pm (I pre ordered as I knew this can be a busy time). I paid and sat down to wait what I thought would be around 10-15 min as it was a takeout order and they had 3 hour notice. I left the restaurant an hour later with an order that was 50% incorrect. I had to go back in to get missing items (which unfortunately had happened in the past but didn't really care too much as the food was fantastic and I'd only have too wait max 5 min for it). Missing things we had paid extra for and potatoes that were made deluxe when we had ordered regular mash for someone that cant eat bacon, and pictured below was a huge disappointment, this is the smoked chicken" i was given for a little Q. Excellent service. Went for an early lunch. Service was great, took the time to give suggestions and recommendations of what to order. Great quality food. Cannot wait to come back again.Did the pulled pork, brisket, sausage, corn bread with honey butter, fries, Mac and cheese.

Been there two times and both times were great! Food is absolutely delicious and the service is second to none. We come fromWinnipeg and the restaurants and food quality does not come close to Bigg Smoak. The hospitality of a small town shines and we cannot wait to go back.

We were so happy to be able to get in right away on our last visit! A few times we tried and gave up after waiting for about an hour(shows you're busy and that's great though)Tried the maple chili wings and they were to die for!!Had my favorite-or one of lol the dirty Mac Sammie!!I enjoy checking out all your ribbons and awards you earned for your amazing BBQ!Always look forward to going back!
