Little Sister Indonesian Food Bar
This is my second time at Little Sister. The first time was a few years ago and I sat out on the patio and this time at the bar on the second floor. At first I was confused as to why there are pictures of doors and silhouettes of women's bodies but then realized the decor sort of pays homage to Amsterdam... Anyway, we ordered the lamb skewers with the pickled eggplant (nice contrast, the flavor was all right) and the fried chicken (not as crispy as I expected but tasted good). From the traditional menu we had the pork belly with pineapple (I'm not normally a big fan of pineapple in savoury dishes, but it was well made and tasted good - and a big plus for the fresh and ripe pineapple, which added a hint of acidity to the plate). As a main we had the nasi goreng (good, but not outstanding), which we used to sop up the delicious sauce of the pork belly.

The entire experience was excellent - the service, food and ambience! The war fries were crispy and flavourful, the chicken satay with peanut sauce was perfect, and the shrimp curry was rich and tasty. Would definitely go there again!

If you are looking for a great evening out with friends this is the place to go! The ambiance is lively and the restaurant is cozy. We tried six different dishes and were impressed at how unique and delicious each one was.

Little Sister Indonesian Food Bar
I’ve been wanting to try Little Sister and finally got the opportunity to go with my sister! Great atmosphere with exceptional service. Bartender was constantly crafting amazing drinks and the main server was delivering terrific service and super friendly. The food is a bit on the pricier side but definitely worth it. Lots of great sharing plates and options! I personally had the sangria and little brother cocktail both 10/10. I can’t wait to return to try some more :)

Wow! But not in a good way. We were a table of two and ordered the lamb skewers, chicken thighs, green bean salad, and beef croquettes. Food portions were incredibly small for the price. When the skewers and croquettes arrived my guest and I were both wondering where the rest of the dish was they were so small. Taste wasn't even particularly outstanding in which I could forgive the small portion. We had to find another restaurant after so I could order something more tasty with adult-sized portions.Drinks were fine. Service was ok. Space was cramped. Pretty 'meh' experience I can't recommend.

We live in the neighborhood and can’t believe we only just discovered this amazing gem. The service is wonderful and the food is so flavourful. Can’t wait to make this a regular date night spot and work our way through the menu.

The food was okay, nothing special especially for the price point. Keep in mind portions are very small so they say you have to order 3 dishes per person. The interior and vibes are nice though. The service was alright, servers were friendly however would forget things like water cups, no cutlery and napkins (had to ask for some when our food came), they say it’s a shared plates restaruant but didn’t give us individual plates for us to eat our food.

Fun creative dishes designed to be shared with friends over drinks. Between the 2 of us, we ordered 5 dishes and it was the perfect amount. I enjoyed everything, but didn't have any standout favourites.Service was excellent - our server recommended cocktails and the food came out staggered at a comfortable pace. We actually stayed there chatting well after our meal was finished and nobody made us feel rushed (it was a quiet night, but still appreciated).I would definitely come back to try more from their menu.

Food is very plain. Everything tasted like it was very minimally seasoned. Nothing was outright bad, but lacked flavour. The lamb satay was probably the least flavoured dish we ordered. Portions are also extremely tiny. All the skewers we got were 1 bite, maybe 2 max, and I’d say that’d be smaller bites. The drinks were 17-19$ for like a vodka martini which is insanely priced. Service was decent. It’s a pretty small place and kind of cramped. Very dark inside so hard to see. Overall, it was a very ok experience, but not somewhere I’d ever go back to.

Little Sister Indonesian Food Bar
One of the better satays I've had in the last 5 years, especially coming from South East Asia. The meat was aromatic, moist, flavourful and not too sweet. I wished the rendang and babi guling were more intense. Nasi goreng was a bit of a let down. Service was quick and attentive.
