Fantastic evening at this beautiful seaside restaurant. The service was excellent and friendly; the view was amazing and the food!!! Delicious Mussels in a cream sauce with lovely dinner rolls to soak up the sauce. I had the Captain’s Scoff- cod, halibut and capelin all pan fried and delicious. My wife had the fresh scallops and declared them excellent (she sure scarfed it down in a hurry. )A nice bottle of Chilean wine complimented our meal which included Partridgeberry pie with ice cream ; all at a reasonable price. Well done Seaside!

Excellent restaurant with great views! I had the best mussels and they were the best I've ever had! And it's a very generous portion! The Ceasar salad was spot on. My husband had the cod sandwich and chowder and said it too was very good.

Seaside Restaurant
What a treat Seaside Restaurant turned out to be. Ate here after a rainy hike at the Tablelands and it was just what we needed. It was nice to meet Jenny and read the history of Seaside Restaurant. Had an order of the chowder and a fish burger, which was perfect for the somewhat gloomy setting of the day. Being right on the coast was an obvious plus. Highly recommend this to anyone who's thinking of visiting!

Amazing views! We checked this out after our guided tours of the Tablelands by Park Canada. This seemed close and had great reviews. They had decent beer options. The starter (i can't remember the name :() of fish and sourcream was very yummy. The scallops were great, albeit a small portion. We unfortunately thought the chowder was a bit meh.

At the end of a charming drive is this little gem of a restaurant by a beach. Staff are lovely and our starters of pea soup ( salted beef base not ham) and seafood chowder were a great start. He had the scallops on rice as a main and I encourage everyone to try coconut shrimp . The salad was the best I’d had in weeks and we shared some home fries. We ordered some ciders and bought some partridge berry jam from the local gifts area. A great meal was followed by a lovely walk on the boardwalk and beach.

The mussels were fresh and perfect, and the scallops were outstanding. The homemade pie was a perfect end, not too sweet. There is a beautiful view of the ocean to enjoy with dinner.

I liked their long history but unfortunately wasn't impressed by the food. One entry shrimps on rice is $33.5 after tax before tips.I expected better food for this menu price based on other places I've been.

Wow talk about a little gem in a small town. Food and atmosphere was fabulous and Viola was an awesome person serving us. If you are in Trout river or camping at the park, this is a MUST! Thank you Viola for the hospitality and great service. Keep up the great work.
