Please see the pictures before reading my reviewI went to this place and asked the person for his recommendations so that tells I am first time at his restaurantPaid $16.99 for rice along with 3 meat curries and the person at counter packed the food and quantity was huge and packed nicelyI went home and then I realized the rice and meat curries all are direct from refrigerator, The food also smelled very bad and 100% none of the food made freshlyWhen I called this place to complain they said I declined to heat the food, But They never asked me for sureIf he would have asked me I would have realized there it self this food is frozen stored forever, would have walked awayWhy this place is still running and who sells food cold and heat up when we askI am going to try my best to file complaint against this placeDear King Place change your name to cold place and shut please for god sake

I wish I can give half stars—as I write this review I am toying with 3 or 4... I was introduced to this place by an Uber driver whom I had asked to be taken to grab something quick before going home after work (after working a long long day) at midnight. He suggested King Place and adamantly insisted I ordered the Tikka Masala Chicken (hot)—I ended up ordering three items, 1 meat and two veggie on plain rice for $13.99 (pop included as well). They have a large selection of curries, meats all displayed buffet style (but it is not self serve).I ordered the Tikka Masala Chicken, Chana Masala and Alii Golbi on plain rice, ginger ale and desert, rasmalai. Rasmalai is not very commonly found so I was super happy to have been able to order it. Probably one of my favorite desserts, Ras Malai is dumplings made from cottage or riccotta cheese soaked in sweetened, thickened milk delicately flavored with cardamom. Serve it chilled and garnished with slivers of dried fruit.The food was good and portion was large—I ordered take out so you can either have it cold or heated up. I opted for cold since I was taking it home. Where the lack of a star comes in is because of the patrons that surrounds the area. Under influences I was approached twice and I was safe but it did scare me enough to not likely visit. I was told they are on UberEats so is another option.

I love this place. It may not look the prettiest and be in a bad part of town. But we absolutely love it. The butter chicken and naan are the best in Toronto. Saag paneer, korma, gulab jamon, all just wonderful. Price is very good.

The food was delicious, authentic, and incredibly flavorful. Most meat dishes come with an order of naan, a drink and lettuce. It is not as inexpensive as one might expect but the price is fair and portions are substantial. I would also be aware of how spicy some dishes are. If you can’t tolerate spicy (very spicy) food I would make sure to ask the owner the level of spice in each dish.

The food is delicious and the portions are huge. The service was great. The food tastes like home very flavorful authentic Pakistani cuisine. They had so many options to choose from and we all ordered something different and everything was delicious.

If you go in with realistic expectations, this is an awesome place!One of their common combos, for $15.99 you get to pick 3 curries, 2 naans and 1 pop. Just can’t beat that. That’s enough food for a huge lunch or dinner or even both!There’s at least 30 different curries and other dishes to choose from on a buffet style counter. The guy puts your choices in a container and warms it up for you. So yes, it’s not a gourmet place and not made fresh if that’s what you’re looking for. Just a no frills good food joint.Overall, good for a quick stop as long as you don’t have high standards when it comes to ambience and presentation.

I ordered from Uber eats a chicken biryani from here and it was a really bad experience. While the taste was nice but the portion was really small for 16$. Worst yet there were hardly 3-4 chicken pieces in the biryani. Never ordering from here again.

So unless you are desperate for Pakistani food and nothing else is open, then this place is barely worth visiting. Sorry Mr. But (owner), the food is terrible and overpriced. I eat brown" food all the time but when the seldom times I ate there

I would say this place is one of the best paksitani food I have tried in a while, I was visiting out of town from Vancouver and came across this restuarant while walking around and was impressed by the quality of food. Small corner restuarant which seats roughly 20-30 people max but loved the food. They had a huge selection of items available, if I'm in town again, will definatky visit for a bite.
