Real Canadian Superstore Pharmacy

If it wasnt for the pharmacist I would be making this a 0 star. The assistants at this store are some of the rudest people I have ever met. 1 of the assistants argued with me today over wanting to tranfser my medication over to Costco because I was tired of the horrible service. If you have someone dealing with your medication who can't even ask a simple question like can we transfer over to Costco or another location, do you really want that person to be dealing with your medication?. Once I spoke with the pharmacist he explained to me that they do transfer but essentially they don't like to becasue it could take a while being on the phone and they are short staffed. Well if the pharmacy continues like this they will have enough staff due to loss of customers. By the way I also called this morning for a prescription refill at 9am told them I would be there around 10 was told that was fine it would be ready. When I got there at 10:30 I was asked to wait for it wasnt finished yet.

I would give them zero stars if I could. Called to have a prescription filled. No problem they say. I go to pick it up and they inform me that they don’t have it and they never bothered to call me back to let me know. They transfer it to another pharmacy and I go to pick it up and they didn’t ask the pharmacy to fill it. Really annoying driving all around Abbotsford and being late for my doctors appointment because they couldn’t be bothered to make a simple phone call. Go to Walmart. Way better customer service and they actually seem to care.

Most inconvenient pharmacy i have been to, seems that they have a hard time getting prescriptions made up whenever i go my prescriptions are usually not ready or nobody has bothered to fill it. It's becoming a huge hassle for me to keep coming here waiting in long lines to be told to come back later which can go on for days until i get a helpful staff member that can do their job, there is also some excellent staff but i have not seen them lately i suspect they transfer them to other locations. It seems like this location has to much new staff that lack knowledge of everything. They don't seem to care at all i have been left waiting for medication for months due to they don't care to do their jobs when it's back in stock and fill the prescriptions that have been waiting and even after i keep asking i was told for over a month that it's not available only to find out it was there the whole time! I got lucky and had a girl who cared about her job checked it out and she was upset that staff didn't do what they should be doing 75% of the staff are clueless 25% are excellent to bad it couldn't be 100%

They're very helpful and always have my prescriptions ready on time.

Friendly staff, much faster than competition (Shoppers), and prices are more reasonable as well. The only downside is they are very stringent on my diabetic supplies (follow to the book about prescriptions unlike other locations which understand pump supplies and insulins are variable).

I usually call in and get an estimate for when I can pick up my prescription, but every time I arrive right on-time or a few minutes after the estimated/ predicted time, it’s usually not ready and I gotta stand there and watch them fulfill it.Another aspect that is a problem is waiting in the Pick-up section. Nobody else will be there, and I’ll just be standing for 5 or so minutes, feeling invisible or ignored, moving back to maybe make sure they can see me, but nope.

Several times now my doctor has asked for my pharmacy to fax her when my prescription needs to be refilled now. Every time I’ve called the pharmacy to ask them to do so they say “no problem it’s done” and when I go to get a refill I’m met with “you have to refills you need to ask your doctor”. Terrible communication and no follow up by staff with customers.

Got my prescription. They gave me wrong dose. Did not know until I had a mental break down. Confronted them. Was told I would have to pay full price to have this mistake fixed. Unbelievable....

Not a good pharmacy. It takes a century to get your prescription filled. Then at home you can't open medication container; the cap is on so tight only a jackhammer can open it...maybe. These are only two of the inconvenient annoyances you'll get. There's plenty more. Save time. Save your mind...go somewhere else.

I first called to see if they had received the prescription from my Dr. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone was so friendly, helpful and considerate. Explained everything and then committed to calling me back once they had received it, which he did. Gave me an accurate time frame for when it would be ready and clear instructions at pickup. Great experience!
