Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)

My dog was stolen out of the shoppers in sylvan lake beside Sobeys on August 26. She's a small white long haired chihuahua. And she was my angel. I am constantly playing phone tag with this detachment trying to work with them to find my dog. Iv found out where these individuals live, got their license plate # , full names, phone number, descriptions, I've done all I can do; and the officer assigned to my case can't even do the bare minimum, which would be to accompany me as I go to their house to find out what happened to my dog!! They find any and every excuse for why they can't help me, or they simply just tell me they will call me back. It's obvious they don't care at all; but these are OUR taxpaying dollars that are paying for their hourly wage. And they can't even be bothered to do their job.

Nice lady at the desk there, very helpful with everything I needed. There's a very nice Police Officer that helped a family member with a situation. He was very professional and super cordial. Thank you Sir, and desk lady for all that you do.

I had a mental health crissis a few years back and had been harming myself, my brother called the police they responded and arrested me fair enough, I was cut up they took my hoodie away and made me go see a doctor with out it in a very public office it was the most humiliated I had ever felt, under no circumstances would they give it back i was underage no one contacted my parents and no one took away the thing I was harming myself with. If you ever struggle with mental illness dont come to this town they cant help

I had to leave work early in Stettler I checked your website and called for hours of operation both stated 4:30 i arrived at 4:05 and the detachment was closed

Hard at working taking tint off the streets!

They don’t do anything when ppl are harrassing and threatening your kids, vandalizing your house!!! They literally just give a smack on the wrist and look the other way!! No wonder so many young kids are getting beat up and jumped in this town or worse!!! Do better! Extremely disappointed!!

They were very gentle when they handcuffed me, and the back of their squad cars were clean and very roomy. Super professional, I will get arrested by them again for sure.

Unfortunately I lost my cousin in lake water, but I really appreciate the help that we got from you guys. All the staff was with us to find him. I Especially thanks to Sgt. Stephenie LESYK to understand our situation better. At last I want to say, they got a best crew to help us out.

As far as experience with the police go, every member I have talked to has be more then polite, friendly and helpful.
