There has been no water at the campground since May 19. An email advising us of that fact would have been appreciated. How can one spend 2 days with no water? Who’s the genius running this?

Beauvais Lake Provincial Park
Well maintained site and (shaded) campground with a big playground for the kids. The walk up to Mt. Baldy viewpoint was a nice first experience and the views over both prairies and mountain ranges were beautiful. Thanks to the lovely neighbors Les & Hannah from Lethbridge we have had an excellent first PP camp experience.

A wonderful camping experience. We had never camped there, but we will definitely be back! The cross-country ski trials double as hiking trails in the summer. We hiked to the top of Mount Baldy for some gorgeous vies of the area. The lake would be great for kayaking or small boats.Just a note, bring your own potable water. There are pit toilets.A jewel to discover!

Beauvais Lake Provincial Park
This park is not far from the main roads and there is a good size town for supplies not too far away. We did miss the turn off to the campground when we entered the park but were able to easily turn around and go back. There is a very nice adventure playground with benches and picnic tables nearby located in the campground. Campsites are roomy and offer some privacy. There is a sign showing all the trails with distances but there are also bear and cougar warnings. There are FCFS sites as wall as reservation sites. There was no indication if the sites marked R for reservable were available or not. There was a park host with on duty when we camped here. There is an osprey nest on top of an old dead tree in the boat launch parking. We watched them fishing in the lake. The campground is not on the lake and there is not beach area. The park is on level ground and the sites are level.

The lake is OK, seems popular for fishing and water activities. The day area is good, with a playground, some picnic tables and washrooms, but the parking lot is really small. You can also try some of the routes around the lake. The campground is also OK, lots of trees and shade, but it's not directly beside the lake - no views then.

Beautiful place with lovely treed campground with washrooms. They have a place to launch your kayak off the dock which is great! There are also life jackets available to borrow, should one forget theirs. The lake is also stocked for fishing.Good hiking trails too.

Beauvais Lake Provincial Park
We had a great trip here. Went on a number of hikes up the trails around the campground with our old dogs (Bear Bait) and actually saw a black bear literally no more than 40 feet into on of the trails right at the campground. Other than being on high alert, this was an amazing campground. Lots of bugs.

Beauvais Lake Provincial Park
Nice campground with plenty of first come first served & reservable sites. Looked like great fishing, the lake is beautiful and calm. Had a couple dips to cool down (was 36c in the shade) which was nice - beware there are leaches! Best spot to go in is straight across from the boat launch as the crow flies. Outhouses are basic and no showers. People were having fires and not being super quiet - which I appreciate. Plenty of places patrol the noise a little too hard.

Great place for camping with family. There are many drinking water outlets in the campground where you can fill your trailer. Lake is at walkable distance.
