Stonehouse Motel & Restaurant
Local bar out front, so rowdy crowd in hotel. Overall not a bad room for a low price but not a quiet or relaxing environment at all. Also had to wait on room after check in time for staff had not cleared and cleaned the room prior to arrival so delayed my plans for the eve with no compensation. Under staffed but very polite staff that were available, they were run off their feet.

The good:-inexpensive price-convenient location-bed was fairly comfyThe bad:-room had a strong odor of stale cigarette smoke-toilet seat in room was broken (cracked in the middle) and pinched when you sat down-hairs on the wall in the bathroom from the previous guest-AC unit only blew hot air like a fan, not cold air-walls were definitely showing their age, lots of scuffs, areas where the drywall was cracking, and a hole-fan in the bathroom was hanging off the wallYou get what you pay for. I would recommend paying the extra $40 staying somewhere else.

Tub was yellow, fake fan in the bathroom, floors were dirty, seems like there was mold, staying in there 2 days and became sick. The ac was dirty.

Customer service poor! Booked 3 night through booking company hopper, called motel to confirm stated they did not have booking and didn't receive payment and they were unfamiliar with the company i used to book! so of course I didn't go to later find out they infact did have booking and payment and refuse to refund my money even though it was their fault they said it was a no show!

The rooms here are sketchy, smell of pungent cigarette smoke, strong smelling cleaning chemicals, and generally unkempt and poorly maintained. If you're desperate for a room and don't care about where you put your head down, then come here. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

This hotel refused to check me in because I have only a debit card and they want a credit card. I've never seen such ridiculous demands in EuropeI consider this as a discrimination of people who don't want to have credit cards.

My girlfriend and I had to stay here for about two months, and even though I have known many people who rented a room here for a monthly rate, the staff insisted that they did not and never had done monthly rentals.They wouldn't let us get the room monthly until paying a $600 cash damage deposit" even though we already put a credit card on file (which is done to ensure payment of renting and any cost to repair damages if we caused any.) so what was the $600 for? and it was suspicious how they insisted it be cash and the fact they put the money into a safe that was seperate from the rest of the money the business had. There was also no record of this damage deposit being paid
