Kumon Math and Reading Centre of Oshawa - South

This is a great Kumon Centre. I enrolled my daughter and son over a year ago as I noticed that their reading and math skills were not at grade level. With great instructions and constant practice, they are doing so much better and are now reading and writing at grade level. In addition, math skills are above grade level. Moreover, my children's confidence level in school has just skyrocketed.The staff at the centre are wonderful, patient and attentive to the student. They take time to ensure the students understand and are always open to the questions raised by them. What I also noticed is that they are open to questions and concerns raised by the parents as well.We highly recommended this Kumon Center.

We feel the team at Kumon of Oshawa-South does an outstanding job with not only our kids, but with all of their students. We believe in the Kumon method and the instructors at this location have helped our kids improve their math and reading skills by leaps and bound within a short amount of time. We also understand that this is not a short term decision and we feel confident that together we are building a strong foundation for our kids to learn and grow throughout their grade school years.The team is made up of genuine, humble people, who are doing this for the right reasons and we couldn't be happier with putting our kids in Kumon at this location.Thank you Mo and the team!

Kumon is a very amazing place to enroll your kids as the skills they learn in Kumon help them at school. My daughter has been going to this center for 7 years now and I've seen all the amazing results in her math skills as they improved drastically. The staff are very friendly! Mr. Mo is an amazing instructor as he pays attention to each of his students with care which is great. Love this place and I would recommend it to every parent!

The center is very well run by a bunch of passionate and professional group of teachers who care for their students and prioritize their individual needs. My son has been greatly benefited from his online classes that offer flexibility and convenience to our daily busy life. Mo, the center owner and lead instructor goes above and beyond to help each student to grow and develop! His kindness and patience is something I admire the most as it's very rare in today's commercial minded education business. I wish this team all the best!

Both of my daughters went to this Kumon when they were younger and it benefited them a great deal. I would highly recommend this Kumon center to anyone.

The people here are amazing! I've seen the instructors help the students through problems in ways that help the students understand, staying supportive and kind to them throughout the process. The staff work hard to return complete work booklets quickly, letting students know if they need corrections and lending a helping hand when difficult questions arise. I love the atmosphere here!

This place is a joke, my daughters been there for over 7 months and her grades have gone down. As I come from a split family, communication has been difficult. The director indicated my daughter was receiving grades of 100% at the program bit turns out it doesn't translate into actual school work. There is zero motivation for the kids to want to do the work. Honestly don't waste your money!

My daughter (a junior kindergarten student) has recently started education at Kumon. Her experience starting from her entry test to date is fantastic. She takes out time by herself after coming from school and getting comfortable that she wants to complete her Kumon homework. It indeed speaks a lot about my child's interest and quality education material provided by Kumon. As advertised, the institute has a child-centered approach where they offer the material / content based on the child's ability and progress. The teachers while being with my child encourage, praise and correct her time to time to ensure best comes out of her. The instructor (Mr. Mo) timely and effectively communicates with parents relating to class schedules, progress of the student and/or any other concerns/information. My children have been going to Kumon for a few years, and I can honestly say the program has been great, as it challenges and motivates them academically. Mo and the team provide a supportive learning environment where children feel welcome. Mo goes above and beyond, and takes time to connect and learn about each child as an individual. I recommend this location and guarantee you won't be disappointed!
