Came in for a Chianti, left with a bad taste in my mouth.2 stars for the 4 star service I have received from the last 4 years of patronage.Asked what Chianti they had in stock, was laughed at and told they hadn’t “heard the word Chianti” since 1987. My retort questioning whether they eat Italian food was met with “well there are other Italian wines”. Yep, most definitely there are but I am the customer and I know what I want and want I don’t want is snobbery, especially from someone who goes on to recommend the Australian/Canadian blend bottle of red.....
