Discriminatory and racist behavior by security at this location. There's a tall Caucasian bald security guard at this location. He tends to be rude, aggressive and demeaning to first nations and metis clientele, making them stand in specific locations while other Caucasian clients aren't afforded the same 'courtesy'. It doesn't seem to me a difference if you make a previous appointment or not, based on your ethnicity you need to stand in these seemingly random areas if you're not Caucasian. When asked why only certain racially profiled clientele are treated this way, his response is to berate you and threaten to throw you out.

By far the worst financial institution I have ever dealt with. Multiple issues over the years, but I am currently dealing with a completely unhelpful, and seemingly incompetent person for my mortgage renewal. This person has made my decision to leave CIBC easy. Even when I emailed another mortgage person with CIBC, expressing that I was very unhappy with the person I am dealing with, and that I would like to switch to them.....my email was answered by the person I am unhappy with. Seriously there are major issues going on here.

I have opened my account at this branch.It was very fast and I left the branch in less than 30min with the debit cards working.I also requested money order for Security Deposit and it got done in short time.I strongly recommend that branch for all newcomers.

This is 5 stars to the SECURITY GUARD at the downtown branch. I work for Parkville Manor and drove residents to the branch. I was parked behind vehicles waiting for them, he came out...NOT to tell me to move, but just to let me know the two ladies were at the counter and would be out very soon!What a good guy!I dont like banks....theyre just as crooked as they come, im with a credit union...so this is not a good review for the bank itself.
