What a lovely gem in the heart of Red Deer, beautiful paved walking trails, pond and playground area for children., and is also pet friendly. The Cronquist Tea House is a beautiful Victorian style ‘mansion’ and is located within the park. The park is a lovely place to spend the day…

Very nice park. Went to Setters Place to watch speed skating for Canada winter Games. Brand new speed skating oval that is awesome. Public skating available as well as speed skating. Doubles as a football field in the summer. Great indoor viewing area. Nice change rooms. Outdoor ponds where you can skate too. Rest of the park is great too. Situated right along the river so it's a beautiful location.

Perfect spot for a walk. Cool stuff to do every season and it looks beautiful in every season too.Beware of the geese tho, geese can run really fast, can swim really fast and can fly real fast too. Don't ask me how do I know this

Great park in the city for a walk along the river or paddle a canoe down it. Festivals and activities often hosted here. Lots of tables for a lunch with a view.

My family and I love going to Bower Ponds. We often rent a pedal boat and tour around the pond. There are washrooms here, a concession and a childrens playground. You can also rent an electric scooter to tour around. They have some picnic tables and a trail around part of the pond.

Bower Ponds
Bower ponds is beautiful. Whether your new to RD, live here, or are visiting, it's always nice to visit here. Walk, bike, scooter, or even run around the pond. There's a great park for kids to play on. Picnic tables are placed throughout the area and great back drops if you're having photos taken. Sometimes there are events here, the main stage is huge and we all sit on the grass and watch. There's paddle boats to be rented and a little snack shack in the building. In the winter you can rent skates if you don't have any and go skating on the pond.

Bower ponds is always a beautiful place to enjoy a summer day, paddleboarding, canoeing, walking the paths, sitting enjoying the scenery, partaking in activities almost year round. Beautiful space ❤️

My grandson and I went for a paddle he loved it. Me not so much modern day torture device. That being said it is a great place for the family.
