Style Encore Burlington

I have had the pleasure of shopping at Style Encore Burlington a few times now, and it has inspired me to write my first google review. WHAT A WONDERFUL STORE! The staff are friendly and helpful without being pushy. As a shopper, I feel like they want to help me find clothes that suit me and it's not about making a sale". I have shopped here a few times and would say buying is a much better experience than selling.I recently went to sell items (7 business and casual dresses and a bikini) and was surprised at how low their offer was. I happened to be looking to sell a dress I know they have/had in their inventory (in a different colour). I knew the price of this one item was hanging on their racks for almost the same price they offered me for three items (including this dress and a never worn cupshe bikini which would be ~$20-$30).Truthfully I felt ripped off and will not return to sell items here. A staff member suggested another location would maybe take the items they did not want so I will try there or an online platform in the future.

The service and staff is amazing! The staff takes the extra effort to assist whether on the phone, on Instagram, or in person. This store has so many unique pieces and you can see the staff is knowledgeable on brands, clothing and styles. It's worth the drive to Burlington. Highly recommend going by. I stopped the other day to just browse, I was met with smiles and very helpful, bustling staff. The store was busy and their racks were full with wonderful, very reasonably priced items. I always thought I was not posh" enough to shop in this store

I took in some clothes to sell. They told me they gave 20 to 30 % of the worth item. When I came back after they went through the items, they only wanted 3 items and wanted to give me $1.00 for 6 pack of new underwear sold at store $15.00 + tax. $3.00 for a pair of Forever 21 jeans, $10.00 for new pair of suede ankle boots. The prices they charge for the clothes to resell and what they will give to buy is ridiculous and not 20 to 30%. Better off selling & buying items on Buy & Sell/Marketplace. My opinion of course and others have theirs.

Though the staff are friendly, this store seems to have poor collections and the lady working around the fitting rooms kept micromanaging customers as if they would otherwise be stealing, which is very unnecessary. She was indeed very friendly though.

I had great luck with this store when I first started going a few years back. They bought lots from me and offered me fair prices.The past several times I’ve visited, they have barely accepted any of my items (even though it were items they said they were looking for) and offered me very low prices for what they did want to buy. For example, they wanted to buy a Lululemon sports bra (excellent condition, brand new retails $70) and Thread and Supply shacket, never worn (no tags, retails for $66 ) they offered me $10 for BOTH items. I by NO MEANS am expecting anywhere even close to full price….but $5 a piece is quite frankly a little insulting. Especially because I know they charge much more than that for comparable pieces.I sold both of these items via marketplace for $25 each and would recommend that you do the same. The rest of my items I will donate to charity.On a more positive note, the store is very neat, their Instagram is very professional and their staff are polite. I think this store is better for a buyer than a seller.

Great experience here! They are truly selective with their clothes and that is so appreciated. You aren’t going through the racks looking at stained ripped clothes like some other places!It’s a great store and the girls are friendly and have great customer service! Will be back again!
