Picked up a large screw in our tire while we were in the area. JNR squeezed us into their schedule before they closed for the day. Greatly appreciated them taking care of us as they were obviously very busy.

Our truck broke down on the way through the area and AMA/CAA towed us here to JNR in McBride, a town we were wholly unfamiliar with. It turned out to be the worst case scenario, diagnostic-wise, and our truck needed a new engine; the team at JNR were very forthcoming and patient with us in describing the issues and the options and giving us time to deliberate. Everyone in the town from the strangers who stopped to try to boost us when we broke down, to the tow truck driver, to the staff and crew at JNR and their associates were friendly, kind, patient, and supportive, we got a real good small-town-friendliness experience. JNR kept us updated on the progress of the service, and the total came within the estimated quote; truck ran better than ever after their care. We felt cared for and Jason struck us from the get-go as very trustworthy, professional, calm, and skilled. Wouldn't recommend blowing your head gasket, but would definitely recommend JNR for any auto service and care.

I want to Thank Jason again for helping me out July 2nd when I was stranded in the area with Vehicle trouble. I messaged him late on July 1st and told him about my truck how it needed work and that I was on my way back to the Edmonton, Alberta area and I hoped he could help...Morning comes around and he shows up early before opening time,walks over and tells me he will have me on my way soon (even though I was not scheduled in.)I can assure you this guy is one of the best Mechanic/Person you're gonna find out there and I highly recommend JNR Auto Services to anyone.Take Care ;)Chris.

Stellar place. Was passing thru on my 5th wheel, broke a leave spring on trailer. Stopped by next morning and they squeezed me in between their jobs. Ordered the part and was fixed by mid-day following day. Very nerve wrecking when you break down middle of nowhere on unknown parts (I'm from Alaska). Felt good found someone that helped get us bayon the road. Very highly recommend this place awesome!!!

My wife had problems while driving back from Alberta and I had diagnosed the problem from her description over the phone. Whist they were good enough to take a look, even with my diagnosis they failed to do anything To *fix* it and suggested 4 new calipers. It didn't need 4 new calipers. It needed the caliper freed on the rear left side. The seal had popped out and twisted the piston slightly in the bore. I knew this because I'd seen it before and my wife had this written down for them... and it subsequently cost me $1000 to rent a truck and trailer and two solid days driving to recover her the car. Upon getting home it was *exactly* what I diagnosed and I had it fixed in 10 minutes with a 13mm wrench and a G clamp.There's a difference between a mechanic and a parts changer! An expensive lesson learned. Ask for the guy who's the mechanic, not the parts changer.

This place is absolutely amazing with great people and super friendly. And will do everything and anything they can to help and get you back on the road. I would suggest if anyone needs anything and your around McBride this place would be the place to go. When everyone else just shrugged us off after being stranded and broken down, they went beyond their own appointments, to reach out with a helping hand. Wonderful experience, and we're safely back at home now. Thanks again!!

After our truck broke down near McBride, JNR was able to see us quickly and work with us calmly and professionally. We very much appreciated the kindness and compassion shown to us by the front desk staff and the mechanic that worked on our truck.

Absolutely the rudest people to strangers who come in for a product. No “Hello may we help you?” Better customer service to strangers would help not just the locals on the area. Being a good Samaritan would be a start.
