Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre
We came here today to drop off a turtle, and we absolutely fell in love with the place and what they do! The staff were so friendly, told us a lot about the turtles, and made the process of bringing the turtle in very easy. The place is so well run and the turtles are incredibly well taken care of. I really respect what they do and hope more people can spread the word about them. They have educational tours you can book as a group and in general do a great job informing visitors about native Ontario turtles. Donate if you can!If you have a turtle to drop off, just call in advance and check to see if it’s a species native to Ontario!

Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre
Took my partner here to celebrate his birthday. We had a blast learning about the turtles and getting to hold and interact with Rusty and Zag was something we will never forget! Our tour leader was so knowledgeable and ready to answer all of our questions. If you have any interest in turtles, we HIGHLY recommend going for a tour!

We found a small turtle and called Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre to get advice. They were very helpful, understanding and friendly. They helped us get the little turtle to someplace safe nearby.

So much good work in the community, Experts and volunteers collaborating to protect endangered and at risk turtle species. Great education, and a chance to see the babies, as well as great merchandise that make a statement and help the cause. Please donate! And make sure you know what to do when you encounter an injured turtle and learn how to help a turtle cross the road today.

Very helpful and incredibly caring people. I was frantically trying to get a sick snapping turtle help on Mothers day and this location was the only one in all of eastern Ontario to help me and the turtle, who is now on the road to recovery!

Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre
Absolutely amazing!!! Our tour guide was so incredible, and we had the best time.A huge highlight of a “babymoon” weekend for us and one of the best activities I’ve ever done in Ontario. You will learn so much about turtles (and how to help an injured one!) during the private tour, and gain a huge appreciation for the sweet and lovely animals they are.

found an injured turtle and called several places without getting an answer but finally a place that will answer the phone! they were able to take him in and hell be on the road to a quick recovery! staff were friendly and very helpful, i hope to hear updates on his condition soon! get better soon little turtle!
