Took the 6 hour Hot Springs Cove tour. The trip to and from the Hot Springs was by covered boat, and we were able to stop and observe a ton of wildlife, including a whale! Our guide was highly informative and kept us on track for the entire trip. The hot springs are about a 30 min walk along boardwalks with stairs (at a good pace) so plan on good shoes to walk on potentially slippery boardwalk. You have about 3 hours total, so plan on about 2 hours at the springs if you walk quickly. The hot springs don't have a ton of room for multiple tours, so I advise choosing the earliest trip out there if possible. The tickets were a little pricey, but worth it for a great day of wildlife, scenery, and soaking!

I went on a Whale Watching Tour and had an amazing experience. We saw 5 whale and a lot of otters. Mark and Iwen were amazing guides and were just as excited about the animals as we were. We were a much smaller group than other companies out there which made it a very personal experience. Would absolutely recommend.

Hot springs tour ran on time, as scheduled. Comfortable, covered boat, & knowledgeable captain. Beautiful boardwalk all the way to the hot springs. The pools are natural so wear proper water shoes or sandals to climb over slippery rocks. Water was a delightful temperature. We were fortunate during our boat ride to see sea lions, otters, porpoises, and orcas. Definitely worth the tour price.

We were a party of six that took the whale watching tour on one trip, then the next day took the bear watching tour. I can highly recommend both tours. Mark the guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and knew where the whales and bears were. It was an incredible experience and a real high of our holiday. We also saw a Golden Eagle with its chick at its nest, sea lions, seals, seal otters and thousands upon thousands of jellyfishA great trip

We booked the Tofino Hot Springs tour with the Whale Centre, and we had an amazing experience! Our guide, Alistair, not only drove safely but also knew a lot about the flora and fauna of the region, which was really appreciated. Also, I really liked the fact that it was a small boat so the maximum of people we could be is 12.The boat ride to the hot springs was fantastic. We saw otters and seals, and the landscapes were beautiful! The trail to the hot springs was stunning, with a wooden path in the middle of the forest. The final highlight was the hot spring itself: a beautiful waterfall with a few holes that allowed us to relax. The only negative point is that it can easily get overcrowded, as there aren't many pools to stay in. So, be sure to be on the first boat to get there in the morning. It's very appreciated to share the spot only with a small group.

My group of eight (8) arrived at The Whale Centre just before 9am for the 1h20m boat ride to the geothermal Hot Springs Cove. The intake/reception area has a nice museum-like display showcasing some First Nation artifacts, photographs, sea life remnants (shells, bones, vertebrae, etc.) and historical notes. After signing legal disclaimers & receiving a safety briefing, we walked downhill to the dock where a small boat took on 11 passengers plus the boat captain, Alistair. Alistair is a very experienced and knowledgeable guide, sharing all his insights on the history of the islands, First Nation peoples of the area, and local sea creatures. During the ride to & from, the boat paused to observe a raft of sea otters as well as a gray whale spouting. Speeding along, we also spotted some bald eagles, a black bear, and a rare sighting of Harlequin ducks flying along side our boat. Quite the enjoyable trip! Highly recommend.

What a day on the water yesterday! The most serene setting either of us have ever seen (and we live in Vancouver!) so this was just beyond our expectations. Our guide Jean-Yves was very knowledgeable and did an amazing job of guiding us around throughout the afternoon. He was awesome! We saw a few bears (including an adult “hanging” in a tree!) and also found a pod of Orcas. Insane! Definitely will come back next time we’re in Tofino!

Had an amazing experience with the Bear Watching and saw several different bears, some seals, and bald eagles! Jean-Yves was very knowledgeable and entertained us with interesting facts as well as some jokes! Would definitely recommend. Even though the weather was a bit foggy and cool I had a great time on the boat!
