Alamo Rent A Car

Forgot my new prescription glasses in the car, phoned to let them know. The lady on the phone said she had more expensive glasses their than mine and they didn't have them. Very rude service.

Don't rent car here! Their system charged my credit card twice. After 10 days of ringing I am still waiting for the duplicated payment refund. The staff is very rude and shady! I highly recommend going with other rent a car agencies!. They don't care about customer all they care is the money. Also they have a terrible customer care service. I haven't hear back from them at all. I keep calling them every week But they keep telling me someone will contact me in a few days.

It was great! Staff were friendly and professional. Returning the car was so easy too! It was a brand new car, super fuel efficient for an SUV too. (I just asked to make sure there was a usb port as the Chevy Spark i drove from another place didnt have one.) They gave me the keys for a kia midsize and the fuel economy was better than expected for such a spacious vehicle!

Great expericene at Alamo, we got in about an hour early due to me not factoring in the time zone change. Our car wasn't there yet but they looked at the size of our family and bags and gave us a free upgrade to a bigger vehichle that was ready. We returned the car very early a few days later, and on the way home recieved a call there was a small dent in the front fender. The associate was very friendly and polite and asked if I knew how it had happened. Unfortunatley I didn't know how it happened, but was also in rural Manitoba so there's no telling what could have hit the vehicle. He instructed me to reach out to my cc company for a claim number and that they would send it to the shop to get a quote. Long story short the repair eneded up being under $100 so I didn't even make a claim, was very pleased they didn't use the opportunity to gouge me on a repair.

In July I rented a vehicle from the Winnipeg airport location. The group of people working there are the worst brand ambassadors I have ever come across.The centre console of the vehicle I rented had a hole in it. I noticed when I got home after a 8 hour trip home and didn’t have keys to my office. I searched the entire car for an hour only to discover that there was a hole in the centre console which they had fallen into. I managed to eventually get the keys out by getting my fingers under the console and ripping them out. But couldn’t retrieve the other, bigger item that fell in there.I told the person who was working when I returned it - he didn’t even get back to me . This was no surprise because he showed absolutely no interest to help and did not take a good note for the guys in the back. I called back numerous times over the following months. Each time I was assured the item would be searched for (would need to take apart the centre console) and on two occasions I was offered a discount for my past rental.Nothing ever came of this discount and nobody ever lived up to their word. Most recently I have left 2 voicemails with no response (in addition to many over the last 8 months). Incredibly frustrating experience and the worst customer service I’ve ever received.

Obinna was excellent. He very efficiently checked us in. In no time we were off with our upgraded rental. He was super knowledgeable and very friendly. We especially appreciated the follow up email with tips on driving in Manitoba.

Had a very great experience with renting a car with Alamo yesterday. Gen was able to accommodate our needs very easily with no hassle. She was very nice to deal with and I would recommend Alamo in the Winnipeg airport any day. Gen is a manager and is doing a great job managing the area and her team as they were able to accommodate my needs and other needs of my family that were also renting a car with Alamo. I had a very pleasant experience renting a car from Alamo at the Winnipeg airport. Picking up the car was fast and without issues. The car was clean and in great shape. During the one week rental period, the car worked perfectly. Dropping off the car was also quick and without issues. Special thanks to Melody who was polite and professional.
