I want to start off by saying that the employee who was working the front during my visit on Thursday August 20th was so very pleasant and great with people.When I was near the end of my shopping, I heard an employee cough a few times from the back. I had mentioned it to the girl at the front that I was under the impression that if anyone had any covid symptoms, that they were not to go work especially when handling food. She said she would address the situation. Then an employee from the back came to the cash. She had only a face shield on slightly lifted over her face. This has been proven by experts and research to be ineffective at providing protection against covid. Again i brought it to the girls attention. She said she was only there to help out for 2 days but that she would address it immediately. If it wasn't for the fact that I was already at the cash with the food in my hands, I would have left without buying anything. Completely unacceptable. I will not be returning at this time.

Best M&M in Ottawa... hands down!! Amazing staff. Always a wonderful selection of food and items on sale! Great environment.. easy to follow covid directions! Way way better then the location on Montreal road! If you go to Montreal road location I suggest you make the switch you won't regret it!

I purchased a box of mini spring rolls at Trainyards Ottawa location, assuming a dipping sauce would have been included; my bad for not reading the box properly. I was annoyed to have been shortchanged by spring roll. That was uncalled for.

Reviews should be based on service and products only not covid rules as for most businesses it’s not their rules it’s the government and they shouldn’t have to risk fines to make you happier. On the other end some do have medical concerns and when serious enough we should be more empathetic towards them. With that being said the food is always good, I have an air fryer I bought from here which is the best one I have tried, the service is always friendly and the new management always makes the store very welcoming!

Vegitarian burgers got shrinkflationed to 6 patties instead of 8 but not only did the piece not drop, it jumped to $13.99! What a scam... I really liked shopping here but if this is how you will treat your customers then you've lost my business.

Ottawa train yards great customer service. Usually happy with the products. However i recently bought the Too Tall Harvest Carrot Cake for Easter Dinner(family of 5) and no one could eat the cake. It tasted aweful! It was mushy,sticky and u could only taste this overwhelming powerful spice which i beleive was nutmeg. Tasted like i was eating a packet of it. Had to go without dessert and through the entire thing out. I have purchased other flavors in the past like GF brownie chunk and strawberry which were really good.

I have been to this location twice recently and I must say the staff are truly amazing! They ensure the store is extremely clean and I felt safe each time. Thank you for doing your part to keep our community safe!
