National Car Rental

They provided cars with M+S all season tires for Prince George winter. The car struggles to even get out of the parking spot. There's like a 5cm tall bump made of snow by the snowplow in front of the car, and the tire just could not get any grip. (See photo) On the road, it was struggling to stay on the road whenever there's snow, ice or slush. Even going sideways when I was doing 30KM/H in a straight line without any provocation.The rep said the M+S is good enough and complies with government regulation". Yes

Overall great staff and service. However on my visit 2 weeks ago they had ZERO cars available for the dozen of us waiting to pick up. No call ahead to let us know.

Reserved a vehicle at the airport for a business trip, upon arrival the magnetic strip on my credit card would not work and they refused to rent me the vehicle. My card has not expired and the chip works fine.They would not manually punch in the card number, they would not use the chip card reader, they would not allow me to use my wife's credit card number over the phone. There were no other vehicles available at other locations and locations outside the airport were closed. I was left stranded at the airport and unable to managed my project which started the next day. I have never had this happen with any other rental company and this proved to be very costly for me. I will avoid National Car Rental from now on as I can not depend on them. Hands down one the worst experiences I have ever had with a rental company.

This Agency is amazing in Prince George! Always available to answer the phone, even away from the office! Always have a solution to any issues that pop up! Always kind and professional and willing to help us out with even the smallest request! Beverly is such a Pro! Delivering vehicles to FBO's early and ensuring we have all that we need! Impossible to get through them on the phone (need 20min just to be transferred to the local office, only for them to say you can leave your number).CANT RENT WITH A DEBIT CARD despite their T&C's saying you can (with international debit card, return ticket). They'll leave you stranded

Warning, This rental company will make you sign an inspection report on the car you rent when you pick it up but they wont do an inspection at the time you return it unless you request it. I strongly recommend you Demand it!! Days or a week later when you are long gone they can (and did in my case) claim you caused damage to their vehicle and you will have NO RECOURSE! I 100% deny causing any damage to the vehicle in the one day I had it yet three days later after doing no inspection on the return they informed me there was over $500.00 in damage (scratch on the front lower bumper) and I was responsible. My insurance through my credit card paid them out, but I did not cause this damage. You are completely at their will and who knows what damage could be caused in the parking lot or when their employees are transporting it to where ever they eventually clean it? Your liability is completely at their discretion and can continue long after you return the car. Completely shady dealer. I recommend using Budget Rental instead.

The staff were very helpful from start to finish. Very professional and polite! Will be using them again in the future!

Very rude manager. Tho his employee was very polite and accommodating. They provided me with a vehicle that needed preventative and corrective maintenance. I complained when I returned the vehicle.
