Richmond Hill Children's Clinic

They were the only place that picked up my call on Good Friday. My kids both had strep and they made an appointment for me to come in less than two hours later. The secretary and doctor were both so kind and understanding and made sure I was able to find a pharmacy that was open with the antibiotics we needed. Definitely highly recommend. Did not feel rushed and office was clean and bright and friendly and not crowded at all.

I have been coming to this clinic with my 3 kids for the past 21 years. Both Sabrina and Rachelle have always been very kind and patient despite the craziness that is going on around them. The nurses have been great as well! Through the pandemic I was able to get an appointment when I needed one. Dr. Spiegle was by far the best doctor we have ever had - kind, caring, empathetic and very thorough! We are now being seen by Dr. Bluestein and while he is super busy, he has alway been very thorough and hasn't brushed off any concerns that we have had with our children's health, which I truly appreciate. You may wait a while to be seen but I'd rather wait and been seen by a doctor who will take my concerns seriously.

Let me start by saying that I really like our dr. - Dr Weisbrot. My daughter has been seeing him since she was born and he’s always great. The issue here is with the receptionists at front desk and I’m usually not the person to leave a bad review but each time its becoming more difficult to talk to them and if I wrote how many times I’ve had them speak to me rude and have made me feel bad for calling then I’d be writing paragraphs. They are rude and have no empathy at all for concerned parents! They don’t listen to you, and they make you feel bad for even calling almost as if you’re bothering them for wanting to speak to a dr. they have no problem cutting you off when you’re speaking, and giving you attitude and speaking in a really nasty tone to you. I’ve also have noticed they treat you like this in person even with an appointment. Not sure if they hate their job but it’s not our fault, you’re working with children the least you can do is be a decent human. Most of the reviews I see now are negative because of them and their lack of professionalism. You guys need to do better.

This is not about the interaction with the Doctor.Parents shouldn’t feel like they are an inconvenience to a business, especially a MEDICAL CLINIC, when they visit with their sick kid. Well, that’s how we felt! I think I speak for a couple of the other parents in the waiting room when I say this.While in the waiting room on Sunday, my wife and I were feeling this way, so we started reading these reviews. I have to agree with a large number of them, especially the ones about the receptionist. Our experience with the Dr. was very good.I’m a person that believes in second chances. I’d like to think that the receptionist doesn’t know that she’s making people feel that way. I’m not suggesting that she be fired, but some customer service/empathy training would go a long way.So, for now, (and I’m not sure how to achieve this) if you can somehow avoid interacting with the receptionist, do it!

Hours of operation not correct. Called at 815am and voicemail said its closed.Called at 1pm. Not opened.Called at 330pm closed for the day.It is hard to rebook or cancel an appointment because no one picks up the phone.Doctors are great.Receptionist are horrible.

While Dr.Bluestein is an amazing doctor, i assume the receptionist is why this place is rated so poorly. I highly suggest you fire the power trip and replace with someone who wants to be there. If you can put up with front desk ignorance, then i highly recommend seeing this doctor. Get a new job.

The service has gone down hill. We use to go to Dr Garber but unfortunately she is no longer there. She was very attentive and would not hesitate to refer us to a specialist if she saw a need. Now we have wait times up to an hour and its impossible to get on the phone with them. They do not open the phone lines when they say they will, take a two hour lunch and then close the phone lines again before end of the day. I don't mind the weekend staff who seem way more diligent than the weekday staff.

Had to get the doctor to fill out a form for my daughter.Called clinic, they don’t accept email, it can only be faxed or dropped off and then picked up. Then they mention it’s a $50 charge.Called NEXT DAY, the price suddenly changed to $60!We go to pick up the completed forms just to be informed that they only accept cash and to drive down to the gas station to the closest ATM machine! RUDEST RECEPTIONISTS.On the other hand, our doctor is great at treating our children.

Very disappointed as they only allow 1 parent inside the clinic with the new born (my baby is 3 weeks old) as we walked in we were very quickly asked for only one of us to stay inside ( they make you feel like something is wrong with you like you have the plague they don’t make you feel very comfortable) and the clinic only has 1 person waiting in a very big sitting area. So please keep in mind that tmrw kids go back to school with out any mask mandates but 2 masked parents are not aloud to stay in the doctors clinic with there new born baby with a scheduled appt. This doctors office to me seems like they care more about what’s wrong than what’s actually right.

Almost impossible to get an appointment or call for follow-up results. No one calls back when voicemails are left and no on really picks up during the posted office hours.
