Sandbanks Provincial Park
Newfoundland’s best kept secret! The beaches were incredible and completely uncrowded. There were beautiful hiking trails and lookout points. Park staff were friendly. The sites were not huge but were relatively private. The showers and bathrooms were clean and spacious. The town of Burgeo had everything we needed close by, including a very reasonably priced and well stocked grocery store. Our only regret is not being able to stay longer.

Sandbanks Provincial Park
The best provincial Park, in my opinion. Miles of untouched beaches, often with very few people present. The park facilities are clean and the staff are friendly. The road to Burgeo is the only challenge with potholes that can do alot of damage If you aren't careful.

Most beautiful beach in Newfoundland! Almost nobody on one of the hottest day of July! Truly a blessing, driving from Corner Brook was definitely worth it. Water was clear, pure, fresh and non-polluted. Will definitely go back!

the best beaches in Canada...best kept secret. A must see for all beach walkers with the sandy beaches, hiking trails and beautiful scenery...a little piece of heaven.

Sandbanks Provincial Park
This was a fantastic park. We spent the night camping and hiking to the beach. The staff is very friendly. They delivered firewood to our camping site and we enjoyed it until the night.

Spent the day her with a couple of friends, the beach is amazing. I've lived here all my life and haven't been there since I was a kid. I have seen pics and wanted to go back again. Newfoundland is not known for beaches like this. When walking the beach and you think you have reached the end due to a rock outing(pic 5). There's a path that goes out to a lookout, and there is another km of beach. There are also trails in the area and a park that you can stay at. It's about an 145km drive once you turn off the TCH. The road is rough in most areas. But it's worth the trip.

One of the best beaches in NL. Extremely clean washrooms by the shore, picnic tables and fire pits right on the beach, and well kept campgrounds.

The views were amazing, facilities clean and well kept. The beach was a great experience and the water was warm enough to go swimming.

The beaches are amazing! The views are even more amazing!! The people of Burgeo are Best Kind. If the camp sites had power and wifi access this would easily be 5+.
