Even though it was under construction and staff were being insulted by another guest the ladies kept it together and remained pleasant and warm. Our stay was a delicious breakfast with a cozy warm room that my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed and will be returning to. If they have the space they will always upgrade you to a nicer room!

The Hochelega is a beautiful Victorian home, and we always stay here while in Kingston. The only difference this last time was the upgrades that had been done. If you have stayed here before, be prepared for the main floor to look very different. The old style furniture has been replaced with two seater cafe tables, and the hot breakfast is no longer included. A continental breakfast is included, but you need to buy the hot breakfast for $8 if you wanteggs or pancakes. As usual, the staff was super friendly, the rooms impeccably clean and it is very close to downtown Kingston and lots to do. No complaints, just an unexpected common area and breakfast situation from what we are used to.

This nice rustic Hotel makes you feel like you're back a little bit in time. the staff is very friendly and very sweet. The place is very clean and the food was fantastic. They were also very accommodating with my needs as a vegan. Unfortunately no fridge or microwave in the room but otherwise the rooms are very unique and elegant.

What a lovely stay! The lady at reception (can’t recall her name) was excellent; very thorough in her description of the hotel and its amenities; very professional. There is covered parking at the rear of the hotel. There are about 9 spots and there is also a city lot directly across the street from the hotel lot.The hotel room was comfortable and well appointed; very comfortable bed.The breakfast room is beautiful and we had two delicious options to choose from (savoury or sweet); the coffee, juice, and toast are self-serve.Great location, an easy walk to “the core” with loads of restaurants and bars.We will stay again!

The people here are very nice. Room is clean but unfortunately very old and may need better maintenance. The plug in the washroom is very loosen, water pressure is low, the air refresher is very lousy. Can’t say I am happy with the room but the location and service is definitely good.

While the building looks historically beautiful, our room seemed a little worn. It was clean. The girls at the front desk and prepping breakfast were very nice. The location is great and there is plenty of parking around if the Inn's small lot is full

The classic flair of this inn is amazing. Although missing a little few things from modern hotels, like elevators or coffee machines inside rooms, this place is amazing for the vibes. Definitely worth coming back. The receptionist lady was very helpful and kind too. This is a gem amongst all the sketchy small inns you find on Booking.

We stayed with a friend at this charming B&B during our recent trip to Kingston. The quaint setting and cozy rooms made us feel right at home. Unfortunately, we were charged an additional fee for the delicious breakfast, which was a bit of disappointment. Despite this, we would still recommend the B&B for its comfortable accommodations. Overall it was a pleasant stay with some minor drawbacks. We hope to return in the future.
