I think having Kent and Home Depot in the same area is good for both businesses. What you can't find at one, will definitely be available at the other.Staff is pleasant and ready to help you. Rarely have I run out without an answer to many of my questions when it comes down to products information. Best place to get laminate countertops at a good price.

I'm a convert! For years and years I tromped around HD searching for employees to help. Sometimes even having to chase one when I saw one. Not anymore. The prices are comparable enough between Kent and HD that I am now happy to attend Kent. 4 reasons: 1) Employees are readily available to help. Seriously - no running on my part. 2) The new layout is pretty great. 3) Prices are comparable and when flooring is on sale they don't sell out as fast. 4) I'm not competing for product or employee time with 100 other people. A+.

It is difficult to find someone to help you, and when you do find someone, they don't have the knowledge of what they sell to help, and then they try to find another employee who also dosen't have any idea.

Shopping for flooring, with Pregnant wife. Project desk offered a lumber cart and a get it yourself attitude, despite numerous staff members standing around chit chatting.Lumber cart not appropriate for hauling flooring, no offer of help to load the cart, and numerous boxes of flooring on the pallet were busted, broken and missing pieces and tabs.Unfortunately I will not be returning, and I will spend my money elsewhere in my upcoming home build.Richies perhaps.
