Reservations can be made online for free tour. Recently Restored building worth a visits, next to Bannerman park, the parlour across street has great gelato n coffee

This is a must go in St. John’s. What an epic place, We really enjoyed the tour. The guides are so nice and knowledgeable and they are so welcoming and love to show you lots of details.

Great history learned here on my vacation. A must see if you enjoy Canadian history and want to learn about Newfoundland. Beautifully preserved and the staff are well versed. Easily done in 2 hours if you like to read everything.

Jennifer was a wonderful tour guide, very informative and paced the tour in a way that we could look on our own. She talked about the history and development of the building as well as future plans for the space and how they plan to share the space with various cultures and voices through history. Wonderful job!! We can't wait to visit again in the future.

Pretty, historic, stately building. I was expecting something « colonial », as in small and wooden, in design. This is mid-1800s Georgian-style architecture !Good pizza right across the street.

Opened recently. A must visit place if you like to know the history of Newfoundland Rulings. Well maintained and Free guided tours. Beautiful architecture and Art work by prisoner.
