For everything we got for the price, we were beyond happy. Stunning views, super clean, quiet, for the type of hotel/ hostel it’s billed as, we felt like we should have at least paid double. Will most definitely stay there again!!

The place is nice, located in the top floor. It has good views of all Greater Vancouver. The rooms are nice and spacious. Will stay here again if needed.

It's clean, has very nice view, and near am 24/7 all you can eat dining hall. I don't see many places like this. The size of the room, IMO, is normal, not as small as I thought. Shampoo, conditioner, land otion are provided. There's even a new umbrella for us, nice touch!

Simon hotel is the only hotel on premises of SFU Burnaby campus it’s along with all the hostels building of university. It’s a small hotel with limited accommodations facilities are good it’s mainly for the parents and relatives visiting students at SFU Burnaby campus. Simon hotel services and facilities are real good. I would suggest people visiting SFU Burnaby campus must opt for it as it in campus and having all the facilities and very nice dinning hall near to it. It’s difficult to get it during busy season so you must book it in advance.

I've stayed here quite a few times, in fact I'm here right now. If you can get past the fact that this isn't your typical full service hotel, you'll see that the rooms are neat and clean, the place is quiet, the views are pretty, and you really aren't that far away from much of anything. If you can take care of yourself, this is a great place to stay.Service is great -- they accommodated a number of us who didn't arrive on time because of a flight cancellation, which I don't think any other hotel would bother to do.In all, I love to stay here on my west coast vacations in August. I'm here in May, and it's just as grand.

My husband and I got married at the SFU Diamond Alumni Centre last month, and booked a room in the Simon Hotel as a place for the groom to get ready, as well as a wedding suite for us the night of the wedding. As far as convenience goes, it was great. We literally WALKED (stumbled) out of the wedding venue and to the hotel about 500 metres away. The price was good too. The room was quite a bit nicer than I expected, it was very clean and had a lovely view of the forest, but it was still very basic, and styled in the concrete" look of the rest of the campus. We had to pay for 2 nights accommodation (Friday/Saturday) since we needed guaranteed access to the room at noon on Saturday and they couldn't guarantee us early check-in

Had some difficulty finding the building, what with all of the construction going on, but was very surprised and pleased by the room when I found my way in. You need to go to the Residents Admin Building first, to check in and get your parking pass plus room fob. Then it's a short walk to the Doris and Jack Shadbolt residence. That's the Simon Hotel. The fob let's you in the front door and also into your room. The room was clean, quiet and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. Eat in the residents dining hall. You pay one price at the door, then help yourself to whatever you want. A great deal!

I enjoyed my stay here. Rooms were clean and spacious, beds were comfortable. Rates were also really nice. The only thing I wish for is the bathrooms being bit cleaner, but it wasn’t really that bad. Overall, it was a great, affordable stay!

Well priced, spacious rooms with a good view. Only problem is no meals included. Great place to stay if you know someone from SFU
