The actual body work and repairs are well done - no complaints there.My frustration is terrible communication - after booking us in for photos / quotes it took almost a month to hear back when we were told to expect a call within the week. Then we were told a long story about how our car might be written off etc etc. when not 3 days later I got a call saying they had all the parts for my repair in the shop and needed to book it in ASAP. So disorganized.Upon picking it up - body work was great but there is a sticky film all over the car and windshield that I have spent hours trying to remove. They also forgot to bolt the license plate back on. Overall sloppy detailing job that detracted from satisfaction.Won’t be coming back or recommending this location to anyone.

A family member recommended this place to me. I received nothing but great service. Robin Soni is very friendly and honest. He saved me money by picking up my car instead of having to call a tow truck. Took my car in right away and kept me informed on the progress of my car at all times. I thought it would take a few weeks for my car to be repaired but my car was ready in just over a week. They did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend them.Thank you!Lorie

For some unfortunate reason, my 1998 4Runner has been rear-ended twice and cut off once, all in the last 4 years. Each incident was an ICBC claim that Boyd looked after.The latest repair was from a rear-ender that took out the rear right quarter panel and bumper. With COVID, labour and parts shortages, they had my vehicle for a month, but I did have a really nice loaner rental car which they and ICBC provided. Ryan always kept me updated on the body work and repairs. His honestly did not go unnoticed. Ryan's colleagues and his service are A+ in my books. They did a beautiful job cutting out the old quarter panel and seamlessly replaced it with a salvaged, but clean quarter panel. The new paint didn't take well on the first go, so Ryan insisted that it be redone property as if it were his own vehicle. I really appreciate the care and time Ryan took to oversee my vehicle.To this end, the first two experiences were equally as smooth with Boyd. My skid plate fell off my car yesterday morning so I called because I live right around the corner from the shop and asked if I could bring it in and have somebody fix it. She said yup no problem bring it in whenever so when I brought it in they got it in within like two minutes and it was fixed within 10. Very great service. Very nice people they didn’t charge me at all which I wasn’t expecting. 10/10 service for a girl who has a busy day and no time to waitMuch appreciated

This was my first experience going to a collision repair shop and I have to say, BOYD was FANTASTIC. Rose was VERY professional and took care of everything for me. I called several shops to repair my broken window prior and unfortunately none of them were able to find a replacement window for me, as I guess it's an uncommon window (coupe quarter panel) and the car manufacture had a 4-6 week backorder apparently, but BOYD was able to find one in Calgary and overnight shipped it. After they got the part, they called me to schedule an appointment next day and that was that. When I picked up my car I saw the window was perfect, they did a superb job cleaning the interior and while they were at it, they buffed out a big scratch I had on my bumper at no extra charge, which I was ecstatic about. Will definitely go there again the next time around, which I hope isn't anytime soon. Thank you Rose and everyone that worked on my car!

Response to the owner: I received an email approx 15 mins before this review was responded. It stated “we’re sorry we didn’t meet your expectations. Please allow us to detail your car” zero accountability, zero explanation as to why my insurance claim was $1600 more or a genuine sincere explanation as to what happened. I didn’t even have a chance to respond to this email before you attempted to make it “appear” like this has been resolved. Yet again sketchy. No thanks. Who would trust any company that can’t even take blame and explain why? Reader: save yourself from this place… there’s too many other options in the city whom will stay accountable and honest.My negative review has magically gone missing. So let’s make this short and sweet. After two weeks (they stated they would call next business day) have taking photos I called- they said they lost the photos. I called the next day to schedule the photos being done AGAIN and magically they had ordered the parts and they found the photos… Finally got my car a week and a half after that in they blamed my insurance for not approving quickly… and they didnt have the parts even though they told me they would be there when I dropped the car…….over a month and a half of my car being there with zero communication from them they ignored my cell calls - I had to call from my work which they picked up right away. Suddenly there is an issue with my headlight? Adding an additional $1600 to my insurance claim. I went in for a bent fender. Sketchy. They also told me they were awaiting a part from audi but on a seperate call stated they were getting after market parts…..Finally I got my car back- along with someone else’s personal information, all their insurance information and they personal documents for a 2015 terrain. An absolute breach of privacy. Now they have emailed twice and called and left a voicemail asking for our economical insurance paperwork as they don’t have it…. I’m not even with economical and all of my personal documents were scanned when they took the pictures. On top of it all they’ve been trying to contact my husband…. Yet it’s my car…. Avoid at all costs. Sketchy sketchy business.
