Dr. Green Lawn Care Services

My front lawn had been neglected for a few years, and although I had tried a couple of times to eliminate the weeds and get new grass to grow, it was always in vain.I decided to seek professional help this year from Dr. Green, more in hope than anything else, but noticed a difference after only a couple of visits (my neighbours have also commented on how much better the lawn looks). The patchy dirt has filled in with new grass, and the numerous weeds are no more.I am very happy with the results, and will continue with the service next year. Thank you Dr. Green!

Good morning, i been with dr green services last seasonAccount No: 13326496 and don’t renew services for this year to see the impact of your service from last year. I have hired Dr. Green back in May for a full season 5-star paid upfront. Since Hired, they came, May 16th, May 24th, and July 24th.We are at the end of September, only 3 visits, no consistency in booking appointments to do the 6 visits appointments evenly spread across the summer season. I don't want my 3 other visits in October. I am calling today to cancel the services.On another note, the person who did weed control was spraying all over my green lawn not specifically the weed. Many areas of lawn (That doesn't have weed) turned black-ish colour after the visit. I think Dr.Green grew a-lot that they don't have staff to cover all the geographical service areas they promise they serve, this leads to inconsistency, unreliability, and not caring about customer retention.Not impressed, next season I will hire LOCAL.

The technicians rarely showed up when schedule. And if they didn’t show, I had to chase the company down to make sure someone did eventually show up. Watched the “application process” a couple of times and they didn’t seem to put any care or attention into their work. Drive up, jump out, a quick run up and down the yard and gone. When I complained and asked for a refund, as they were clearly not providing the VIP/Premium services we paid for, they only agreed to give me back the unused portion of the season. Would not recommend.

This is the first time I hired a lawn care company as I know little about this. I purchased the highest package as per their flyer around $300. I called them for the service request and they provided me with a price of $400 and more. I said your flyer says a discount of $300 and change but they explained that the $300 is only for townhouse size. Ok, I do not care this $100 we will see how it works. I expected them do do anything except for watering and lawn mowing, especially I want no weeds in our yard. Guess what, after 4 times visit, the lawn is way worse than before that weeds are everywhere and the front yard has disease look. One lady from Dr. Green called me for service follow up one day, I said I have a meeting but I do want to talk to you for some complaints. Please call me back 10 mins later. NEVER HEARD BACK. Then I called back and had them to come inspect. 3 weeks later one guy came in as the next visit scheduled, nothing about my complaint. Did some sprays on some spots of the weeds, did not help at all. So I called to discontinue the service. The guy on the phone said $150 refund, 2 days later, called me again. I thought it was some loyalty call for the reason why I canceled the service. I was so innocent, the call was about they should charge more because they did 'over seeding'. I can only get the refund $40 instead of $150. I said to them, refund whatever you can, as long as you guys do not show up anymore.This company is too bad, I would not recommend anyone use it. take my money, go away.

Dr. Green has always been very responsive to my lawn care concerns, if they apply a product and it rains they come out and redo it. I have recommended them to my neighbors who are now their customers as well.

I purchased a seasonal maintence package that offers 6 service calls throughout spring to fall, including over seeding, liquid irrigation, fertilization, and weed control. I have noticed a significant change after 3 visits. Weed management has been an ongoing challenging and it's never looked better. My lawn is lush, brilliant in colour and healthy. I'm very happy with the results thus far, and I plan to continue with the service next season.

Stay away! During their service, I caught them claiming to have fertilized when they didn't... twice! Cancelled their service and claim that I didn't. I have spoken with customer service twice and they still invoice me. Completely dishonest company.

WARNING DO NOT USE DR.GREEN!Terrible company. Terrible experience. Terrible service.Multiple calls from the start of the season and nothing changed, these guys were a complete waste of money.Cancelled today.You can buy a bottle of the same herbicide they use for $40 at Home Depot and do a better job yourself. That’s what I’ve decided to do.NOBODY SHOULD USE THEM! TERRIBLE!!ZERO STARS!

Had a great experience with Dr. Green over the summer. My grass was dry and was not taken care of very well by the previous owner. With Dr. Green’s service and great pricing our grass came back to life with very minor maintenance and the technicians who visited were very polite and knowledgeable when asked some questions about lawn care. Would definitely recommend !!!
