Kitchener Waterloo Meibukan Karate Dojo

My son has been going here for Karate lessons for almost a year now. He has learned so much in a short period of time. This is very authentic in the way that my 8 year old has learned so many Japanese phrases for all his stances and actions. It's very cool to see him excel here and gain confidence, leadership skills and physical fitness. Sensei Kao has been phenomenal and we've been very welcomed to this Karate community. Highly recommend for any person looking for an excellent activity for mind, body & soul.

Sensei Kao is an amazing person who loves the kid and motivates them to not only learn Karate skills but to be a better individual as a whole.My son LOVES it and hates missing classes if he can help it. I mean this kid still wanted to go for practise the same day he went to the ER to get stitches (not related to the his classes)! This says alot!Sensei Kao also gives you feedback on how your child is doing and you can see good comaderie between him and the kids. We really love it here. Keep up the great work, Sensei Kao!

I had participated in a seminar hosted by this wonderful dojo. The incredible hospitality by the entire dojo family shows what an amazing leader & karate-ka Sensei Kao is. I look forward to training under him next time I visit the area!
