This gym is an excellent choice for all ages and skill levels. Everyone is welcoming and coaches share a huge amount of experience.

Let me start off with saying I’m an incredibly specific and picky person when it comes to my health and fitness and training is at the top of my priority list. That being said…Kawartha Combat is hands down THE best training facility in Peterborough and surrounding area. Incredibly welcoming atmosphere, great for beginners but if you’re a serious athlete you could really excel here.You have the options of Muay Thai, Brazilian jui jitsu, boxing, or cardiovascular health training. OR all of them if you’re a top athlete looking get an edge to your game.HIGHLY recommend to EVERYBODY!

I did the BJJ and muay thai classes here. Excellent instruction and felt welcome from day 1. I even did a bit of the sparring here and the head instructor typically pairs you with people who know what they're doing so technique is controlled to reduce injury etc. Overall, a great group of people to learn and train with!!

I have been to quite a few gyms in Ontario, and Kawartha Combat tops the list.It is in a great location, the facility is big enough for many bags, a ring, weights, and lots of mat space.Everyone I meet there is friendly, hardworking and enjoys the training.The owner Kevin is crazy skilled, will make you feel welcome and push you to new levels of awesomeness.

Excellent instruction across the board. Very welcoming and willing to help a noobie! It's a great place to learn if you're new, without judgment.I've trained for years in a few different arts, and have two left feet when it comes to Jiujitsu. I immediately felt included.

There are five people in our family ranging from 15 to 40 years of age. We train together 4 to 5 days a week....we call it 'Family Therapy' lol!!! It has been a truly wonderful experience to watch our family become more conscious about our health and wellness and to witness our boys working hard towards their dreams of becoming professional fighters. We feel we have extended our family with the beautiful people we have met here. Kevin Henry has taken our family under his wing and has not only taught us how to fight, defend ourselves and encourage us to eat properly but how to learn from failures, breathe deep and stay focused. Kawartha Combat has been a life changing experience for our family ☺

Great place to train at to get in shape. Good group of people to work with. It's a hard workout but has rewarding results. I recommend everyone come by and check out the free trial period.Whether you want to train to compete in various events or just for fun and fitness this gym is the best.

We have 3 kids in Youth Muay Thai and they absolutely love it. Can’t wait to get there every class ! Kevin runs an excellent training facility!

I have been training Martial Arts for several years now and this gym is a hidden gem in Ontario. Coming to Peterborough from a big city filled with gym's I was very surprised to find a facility of this quality here in Peterborough. Classes and Coaches are top notch!
