Really good place to buy video games

Despite what I assumed to be a unfixable issue (I lost an item that I paid for), the staff member (Fielding) there did everything in his power to help me and I was satisfied that all potential avenues had been explored by the time we were done. I wasnt able to get a refund or a replacement item, but also didnt expect to given the circumstances. Customer service was on full display.

Employee was finishing his shift and the other staff did a full pat down and searched his person and jacket.They claimed a guy In the states was stealing from the store so all the stores have to do this.Frist off we are canada and we have rights, when can an employer do a pat down of employees?This was a disgusting display of respect and I will never support a company that treats thier people this way.

I went in there to trade a 3DS in for a 3DSXL and the staff was extremely helpful and knew exactly what it was I needed. They held the console for me and got it to me without any issues. The lady with the read hair working the counter was very professional and really cute to add! Hmu! But seriously very pleased with the service and the staffs readiness to help.

I love this store. It's way too easy to spend more than expecting here. And Jennie, the manager, is extremely helpful.

Great conversation with the clerks, very informed about the products, about the competing prices, and the content in game. They're friendly, they're helpful, and they aren't overselling, or forcing merch. I usually only buy my games here.

Careful what you purchase from them, especially if it is already pre-opened but tagged as new. I returned a set of switch controllers and was told that because the box was opened l could only get a gift card. The box was open when I bought it, they put the controllers in the box at the till. Seems like a scam to me.

I live in Calgary but had an issue [resulting from an honest misundertanding] with the purchase of a PS5 bundle for my grandson, from the EB Games store outside the Lethbridge PP Mall. The issue wasn't discovered until the bundle came to me in Calgary.When we tried to resolve in our Calgary EB Games store, we were told Sony had a blanket policy and there was zero room to correct the matter except to purchase one of 3 items he could not use and didn't want, in its place, and pay the overage in cost. I left and called Ryan, manager at EB Games in Lethbridge and explained the situation. WHAT A 5-STAR DIFFERENCE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE!!Ryan agreed that Sony did have such a policy, but said that considering the circumstances he would speak with his district manager, Chris, to see if they could give us an EB Games gift card instead, with which we could choose something he actually needed. Ryan called back in less than 2 hours to say he and Chris had looked at the exceptional circumstances and wanted to make his customers happy. They arranged whatever was necessary with Sony to exchange for the gift card.NOT ONLY THAT. Ryan offered to call the EB Games in Calgary (the most convenient location) that had turned us away, and arrange for the return and gift card pick up there.!THANK YOU RYAN AND CHRIS! You set the gold standard in customer service for other EB Games stores. I hope the others raise their bar in customer care to meet it!!

The location inside the mall is great! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable! I always enjoy going and seeing what new things they have to offer.
