Kensington Court Retirement Residence

Our family has had a wonderful experience in dealing with Kensington Court. Their staff is professional and friendly; their facilities clean, and grounds well maintained. We spoke with Natasha from Sienna Management and were able to find a suitable Unit for our grandfather within a short time. She was prompt in her correspondance, and had a comforting and empathetic approach. It was reassuring to know that we had left our dearest in competent hands. The on-site canteen offers meals suitable to his needs, and the many available activities allow him and his fellow residents to participate in the comraderie. We also take comfort in knowing that staff is equipped and trained for emergency situations. We are happy to highly recommend Kensington Court.

Kensington is a wonderful place to work and play. The residents are vibrant and fun. A great environment to enjoy a delicious meal and fun activities. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Awesome place and the day chef is great!

My husband and I recently stayed at Kensington Court in April. We called it Kensington Palace! The front line, dining room and management staff treated us like royalty. We enjoyed every meal, activities and amenities. Will definitely stay there again and would recommend it for short or long term stay.

My mother has been a resident for a year now and the change in her is fantastic. She is happier, more outgoing and more talkative. This move has improved the quality of her daily life.

New company all about the dollar. Young staff have no idea or interaction with residents. Managers joke around with each other like the place is a joke. Disrespectful to family of the residents who have passed. Only 1 elevator in the place... is a problem. Shame it was once a very nice place. Servers are fantastic, cleaning staff fantastic. And the 1 manager who has been there is a fantastic lady.

My Mother was lucky enough to be a resident here for 2 years.She truly loved this place and was depressed to have to give it up due to increased health difficulties.She spent her days enjoying the social activities. The staff was not only amazing to my mother trying their hardest to help her to enable her to stay but then were so helpful to me when left to sort things out. They really go above and beyond and that is exactly where you want your loved one to be to ease your worries. I also have had to look at a lot more increased care retirement homes and her studio apt. was much larger than those and also had 3 large closets as opposed to their one or two.I hope to someday be able to stay there myself!...Thank You to All The Staff...My Mother loved you!

I agree with the previous 2 star review, I personally do not live there but my Mother does. It has gone down over the years, and I don't like what I'm hearing. Volunteers?? (at their age??) to do what paid staff should be doing in the first place. What happened to STAFF welcoming new residents and showing them around them the facility, along with many other responsibilities they ask of the volunteers ? Independent living? Poor blind residents and disabled- you are on your own. Meals? Hmmm, out of even the minor staples that should be on hand. Really, for the amount they pay monthly and what is advertised is disappointing and concerning.

Warm, friendly atmosphere. Staff is incredibly welcoming and the food is amazing. You can sit back relax and be secure in the knowledge that you will be well taken care of!

On behalf of my family and my parents, I would like to thank the staff at Kensington Court for such a great experience. Because of circumstances, beyond their control, we had to move our parents to another facility with more care options.The staff at Kensington are welcoming and extremely responsive to the needs of their residents. My parents are reclusive by nature, but the staff at Kensington checked on them regularly and tried to gently coax them into joining the social events.Their unit was very inviting, spacious and well looked after.I would highly recommend Kensington Court to other families where their parent(s) can live independently but cannot any longer cook or look after a large home/property.Thanks to all of the staff at Kensington Court!
