TMC Restoration

Do not use TMC. I had a chair from my Aunt that I thought was antique and I wanted it to be recovered. A sales associate came from TMC and told me that it was solid wood and very much worth having it restored. When I went to pick it up they had told me that the plastic legs had been replaced with wood ones, which I was charged for on top of the charges I agreed with. The price was already more expensive than local companies and then I came to find out they are not honest. They kept my deposit and kept the chair because I would never have spent the money on it if I knew it wasn't an actual antique.

We recently requested a Quotation from TMC Restoration to resurface a Teak Dining Room Table and an Octagon shaped teak coffee table. TMC sent out an estimator who determined the work that would be required. The Estimator priced both tables individually with a total price under $20K plus taxes with a lead time of 14-16 weeks. We were somewhat taken aback by this price as we thought the pricing would be less. The Estimator then took us through the process of the work that would be required for both tables in order to give us an idea of what the pricing covered, and why perhaps it appeared to be expensive. However, the price quoted would be fixed for 90 days. We were unsure if we wanted to proceed with the work based on this pricing.The Estimator then advised us that a Corporate Client" had recently delayed an order and

We came across TMC at their CNE booth. I had always wanted to reupholster my grandmother’s old chair to bring it some new life. We had never reupholstered anything but TMC made the process extremely easy. They scheduled a free in-house quote. At this appointment the consultant asked about our vision for the piece and helped us select appropriate fabric. TMC picked up the piece and delivered it once it was done. The quality of the work is fantastic and they kept all the original detail. We could not be happier with the results!

We had our old (white) family sofa reupholstered and were so please with the results. It looks and feels like a new sofa but still has all the antique feels. TMC was great to deal with from the onset, good communication, nice variety of fabric swatches and a fantastic craftsmanship. As a married woman, you are not allowed to have an appointment and make decisions on your own to purchase from this company.I was speaking on the phone to one of their representatives and She was checking my husband would be home for the appointment. I said no my husband will be at work. So she said it’s company policy, your husband must be there so the choices can be made regarding fabrics, cost, etc.I cannot believe a woman said this to me.I don’t need my husband by my side to choose how to refurbish dining room chairs. I made a booking with you. You needed to be change it. You would not rebook it without my spouse being there. You rang me twice. I answered on the second call, you then wrote the untrue reply and posted it. those are the facts. I am entitled to display my facts to the public, as a small company if you feel these truthful facts are harmful, you should review your policies

TMC recently reapolstered some furniture for us. It belonged to my husband's parent's when he lived at home. His mother just recently passed away. What a gift it is to have this furniture to enjoy for years to come. We are so happy with the work TMC provided and would highly recommend them.

We recently restored an old wing chair and ottoman with TMC. It was our first time doing furniture restoration. We expected the cost would high but not quite this high...But we decided to get it done, and we are very happy with the results. The set looks gorgeous and the workmanship is superb.At the sales meeting, Peter was patient with the fabric selection process. Audrey at the office was helpful going over the locations of the fabrics as we chose two different kinds. Tino was very nice with our after sale request, and arranged their drivers to deliver a set of plastic covers.We now hope the wing chair/ottoman will last for a long time!

We recently had our table and 6 chairs refinished by TMC. Could not be happier with the outcome. Thanks to all the people we met along the way to assist us. The gentleman at the mall, the estimator, the two gentlemen who picked up and delivered the table and chairs, and most importantly Tino Selvaggi, who coordinated the whole experience.
