A lot of history can be traced back to Chinatown, it's a good place to take pictures and to enjoy the general vibe of the area.I recommend trying the restaurants nearby and also it's very close to downtown area.

Chinatown is a couple of blocks long and is what you would expect of any Chinatown. I took a photo of the longest operating Chinese business in North America. Pretty impressive! Whether you're looking for fresh produce, a restaurant or trinkets from the Orient, you'll find it here.

I just walked around at night so I can't review any of the shops, but I felt very safe as a tourist. Most stores were closed (be aware, it seems most places close around 6pm which is a bit earlier than what I'm used to - just something to keep in mind) but the decorations and historic placards I found around the street provided an interesting, and educational, walk.

Beautiful area, it's the oldest china town in Canada! Worth a visit, especially during cherry blossom season. Has many fun twists and alley ways to walk through.

Little China, you will feel here. Pure Asian side vibes and foods. Numerous sovereign shops and local markets are enough to confuse you on your last day of trip to this amazing city. The connecting bridge of south and east Victoria has this beautiful garden full of ducks. Early morning running gave me such a scenic view of the Victoria assembly from the far side. Perks must try dumplings on the street.

Arguably the most vibrant place in Victoria. I walk through here all the time because the vibe of the space is so good. I love the sidewalk food options and the flow of the sidewalks through here. Such a special place and so many wonderful places to eat. Spend some time just sitting and watching the comings and goings.

Our Air B&B is right in the middle of Chinatown. Cute little shops and many restaurants as well. I give 4 stars because parking is atrocious. The city needs more affordable parking solutions. Visitors and citizens of the city shouldn't have to pay $20 or more a DAY to park.

Canada's oldest Chinatown is worth a visit! It's so rich with history. A couple of hours is plenty of time to check out the shops, especially the iconic Fan Tan Alley. Lots of cute shops and lots of Chinese-themed souvenirs. Lots of choices of cafes and restaurants as well.
