We decided to get fit and have fun! We went into a few bike shops around town. I actually completely forgot about Ruckus, but at the same time “extreme” shops like these also intimidate me a bit. We went in to Ruckus last, we met John and he is absolutely fabulous! My husband had bought a bike at another store days before and was told nothing of importance and basically asked “Pavement or trails?” The guys at Ruckus helped us look up parts we needed to hook to our chariot for the kids and spent a while looking up and researching his bike model and specs to ensure we had the appropriate parts! We went back a few days later and purchased a new bike for me! I think we spent 2 hours there with John, but it felt like minutes. He is crazy knowledgeable about bikes and was incredibly confident in assisting us to find the appropriate bike for our families needs with several options. Anyways, people have probably dropped off by now but I was blown away by the entire vibe there and all of the helpfulness from the entire crew. It was easy and comfortable. I feel like we have bike dealers for life Yo! Thank you again for making the process extremely seenless! :)

I brought my cyclocross wheels in to match up some cone wrenches to allow me to disassemble the hubs for bearing maintenance. Unfortunately they did not have the wrenches in stock, and I was hoping to service the bearings sooner than later. Adam agreed to have a look, and pulled the bearing seal off one of the wheels to reveal a very clean, but slightly dry condition. When Adam turned the hubs and felt no indications of wear, he advised to simply add oil to the bearings and keep riding the bike. I agreed, and then I asked if he would do the work for me ( I had no idea what kind of oil to use, and he seemed to know what he was doing) I then asked him to true up my rear wheel, and told him the front could probably not get any better than it already was. Little did I know that was all the challenge he needed.The next business day, Adam called me back to advise he wanted the frame to verify the wheels would run on center, as he had noticed a significant dish on the rear wheel.When I brought the frame in, Adam quickly and carefully brought the rear wheel back to center, and when the front wheel went back on, I noticed it was running even truer than when I dropped it off. (Adam had accepted my challenge)After seeing Adam's quality workmanship, I was more than happy to have him service my brakes, derailers, and head tube (things I was planning on doing myself, but I could tell he was dialed right in, and would do a better job than I could) While I was there I also decided to buy a new gatorskin for the front, and Adam taught me a few tricks which will help should I ever need to change a tube on my own.In summary: thanks Adam, you made my 12 year old bike a joy to ride again. To anyone looking to have their bike serviced... I highly recommend this shop.

Had some custom foot beds made by the owner Mark for both sets of my Nordic boots. Loved the attention to detail, the customer service and how there was no”break in” period for them in my boots. Helping so much with my foot pain. Great store, great service and great people!

Buying a mountain bike. Knew my budget limits and didn't get pushed into buying outside that limit. Good selection of popular brands. Great... I mean GREAT customer service. Patient. Knowledgeable. Good deals. John, in particular, stands out as one of the best bike salespeople I've ever dealt with over the 40 years of bike buying I've done.

We bought a mountain e-bike here under the rebate program. The staff were knowledgeable yet I always felt comfortable even though I don't know any of the common mountain bike lingo. Purchasing was quick and easy.Btw if you are like me and have been using a 25+ year old mountain bike I highly recommend getting a new one. I can't believe how much more stable and easy to manoeuvre they are now. On my first 10 minutes I easily took my new bike up a hill that I would have never made it up on my old one.

While visiting family in PG I broke a chain while biking Trees for the World. They sold me a quick link instead of a chain, help me buy a great tool and then helped with the installation of it. A quality shop and though I only spent 60 bucks here they treated me like gold.Thanks

Popped in with my road bike for the guys to have a look at a frame dent. As always, they were very welcoming and helpful. Looked over the bike, changed a tire and gave her a quick little tune and went over a few things I should do in the fall.Incredible service...this is why I always go back to Ruckus for anything bike related for our family.

Had the great big C not struck (and the supply of bikes for purchase not dried up entirely), I would've happily forked over a whack of cash to Ruckus for a new bike last year. Kudos, congrats to the owner / manager for assembling a great team. What a great bike shop experience. These guys treat us out of towners / just passing through bunch of forestry workers like Gold. My thanks to Simon for organizing my tune up and for all the friendly advice and to Adam for his superb work on my machine (and for taking a great deal of time out of his day to help me out with my bike maintenance / upgrade details). Well done Ruckus. And thank you. I will most certainly continue to shop there (and spend) at Ruckus.

I am a bicycle traveler who crosses America. I had a little extraneous noise in my pedalboard. After several refusals from a bike shop that couldn't take care of my case without making an appointment, I had the chance to go to... and come across a super dynamic, passionate, young and professional team who we took care of immediately. They also gave me lots of advice on my future route to Alaska. I highly recommend this store!
