Parasol - Early Years Learning

My boys absolutely love going to Parasol. We were nervous at first as it was their first time attending a daycare, but the staff are so wonderful and made the transition easy and smooth for my family. They love their teachers and look forward to going to “school” every day. The owner checks in regularly to ensure our needs are being met and that the boys are happy. We could not have asked for a more caring and loving daycare. We’ve had a lovely experience with Parasol.

The staff at Parasol's original downtown location where all my kiddos have attended are WONDERFUL! They offer loving and professional care leaving us feeling confident overall that our kids have been safe, loved, happy and enriched throughout the day! My youngest has blossomed socially at Parasol and is happy and smiling ear-to-ear when she hears the names of her Parasol caregivers!

My child runs everyday to the daycare. He love Parasol daycare teachers.Teachers are always making sure all the children’s needs are met. When going to the park all the teachers make sure they take each child has their water bottles. If some reason child don’t have water bottle. Teachers make sure they have water jug with them filled up to take it to the park with them and little cups, which are used once and throw them at the end. They do art work at the park too when it’s nice weather or scavenger hunt, where children gotta look for something that is on the sheet of the paper they have given.At the daycare, each child has basket of his or her own with their names and their clothes are labeled. Each item that child bring from home is labeled so it’s easy for the other teachers to when their own teacher is not there.

My kid had a very good experience at Parasol for over a year (downtown ). The directors/teachers provide support for kids with special. needs , teachers were kind and patient. Michelle and Miss Caitlyn always made her feel welcomed and included.

My son has been going to day care almost 2 years and we are absolutely love it. I can see the growth and learning every day. The children seems very happy there and full of love. I do not hesitate recommend the Parasol day care. If I could give this day care 10 stars I would!!!.

As a family we have been moving around a fair amount, and Parasol is what I miss most about leaving Kamloops. It is by far the best child care organization we have worked with. All of their staff are excellent, and my daughter's teachers, ms Regha and Ms Loghan were phenomenal.

My experience is with the parasol in north shore (at tranquille road)I’m having the best experience with all their care and support. My kid started going to a daycare when she was 13 months and I moved her to a parasol when she was 22 months by my friend recommendation. It was the best decision I could take.They were very paciente with her in her adaptation. They offer her emotional support when needed. But for me the most important part is the communication.We always have a time to talk with them, they are very kind, friendly and supportive with what we mention. Also they are proactive in asking our kid routine, and development moment, and anything that could affect their daily life. I frequently receive text message asking how was my daughter’s night or weekend, if they noticed some change on her mood for example. They pay attention on details and treat my kid well and respectfully.My kid is going to this facility since July 2022, now is Jan 2023. I couldn’t have made a better decision. I’m really happy to see how my kid loves to be there and be with them, and how happy she comes home and talk about her day.I love all the staff working in there, specially miss Caitlyn for taking such a good care of my baby girl.

We have loved our experience with Parasol. The Owner is incredibly kind, attentive and always there to answer any questions or concerns. The Teachers are very caring and kind and take time with the children. I have been very impressed with their planned activities and circle time for the older kids. Our little feels very comfortable going and feels at ease knowing the routine at school". The teachers provide a written update everyday and are always smiling. I feel very blessed to have found Parasol!"
