I purchased perogies and sausage and was blown away with the quality and flavour. I have not had much authentic ukrainian food, but can say this is much better than the Canadian versions. I strongly reccomend others to check them out. Looking forward to exploring more foods here. Thanks taste of Ukraine.

Small deli with some interesting products from the Ukraine, so far I tried the smoked sprats and cheese, both excellent. Bought perogies too and look forward to eating them. Good service.

Used to visit this shop every week. One day bought a mini cheesecake, it has a little peace of tape on wrapping paper, but I didn't pay attention and tried it anyway. It was not a cheesecake, but a different desert called birds milk candy. I have no idea who replaced it, owner to make profit, or hungry employees missing home delicacy. I have no idea in which sanitary conditions that happened. I felt so disgusted about it not only because someone wanted to take advantage of me, not only that it's might be dirty, but also because item was mislabeled and contained gelatine which made from pork bones and I am not consuming pork for my religion. This store and their cheating offended me on all levels. I will never return there. And after posting the honest review, the owner called me a lier in her response. Very interesting approach to business, fit in a standard of cheating with items.

I used to shop at this store pretty often, but decided to quit as they did not agree to accept back spoiled cheese (smoked gouda) due to their two days return policy. It was very disappointing as I purchased this cheese for my husband's birthday dinner as he really into cheese. The one I got from Taste of Ukraine had something in it that was creaking on teeth. Like tiny crystals or sand. My husband refused to eat it and suggested to return it. Two days later I was attempting to return the cheese to the store - but the manager, who was contacted by the cashier refused to accept it due to unusually short return policy. Beware, the food from this store might not be fresh enough beyond two days after purchase. Maybe this is the reason for such unusually short return policy. This is not the first time they sell something spoiled to me. However, in the past they agreed to accept it back; like the chocolate candies with dead insect in them.In reply to the owners response: First, I left the store when you made it clear that you won't refund the money and yes, I was upset because of it. Second, even though you don't manufacturer the cheese - you profit from selling it in the community, so you should have some kind of responsibility and solve the issue with your supplier. Third, the chocolates we returned in the summer did have insects in them and we got a full refund from your cashier.

We walked into the store and ordered some cabbage rolls and pierogies. I asked the staff member if she could heat it up for us. I guess that was not a question she gets asked often, but she obliged and even gave us wooden picks to eat them with. Delicious food, will come back again. thank you for your kind service :)

Lots of great stuff here and service shows patience for us asking questions about products. Very helpful lady on guiding on what treats to buy from the bulk bins, we now found a better candy bar similar to Eatmore, will definitely be buying more! Please don't discriminate store for carrying Russian products, as it's a sunk cost for them already. Russian's people does not equal Russian government controlled state apparatus. Stop hate. #standwithukraine

This is my favourite location. Best pel’meni in town! Beef and pork (Sibirskie) are the best! Fantastic selection. And even though they raised their prices, they are still the best priced. Prices for just about everything are lower than other similar stores with Eastern European foods. Great service too!
