___I WOULD AVOID___I do not suggest them because of poor customer service.Had a car booked at 8AM and reached by their door 15 minutes ahead of time. The door was locked and the person (a lady) there showed me the number 8 with her fingers. After she opened the door at 8, she told us we should wait for at least 20 minutes because of their system. I told her our reservation in at 8:00 and we have to reach the planned destination (our son's school) at 8:30, so requested to solve the issue or do their paperwork later and pay us an apology, she replied I know but the car is not ready! RUDE!If your cars are not ready why don't you change a simple line in your site? Why do you waste peoples time and ruin their schedules? and why the only person in that location cannot simply say our system is crashed/ cars are not ready" instead of showing the opening time

I had the same situation as Justin and Michal mentioned below - went to the office this April and was told that they don't have the car we reserved anymore. The agents called their customer service, cancelled our reservation, and transferred us to Avis also.What makes things worse, even after a month from the cancellation, we still haven't received our prepaid money back yet. Called the customer service several times and they say our cancellation is still waiting for approval (took more than a month even when this cancellation is filed by their own local agents???)...I used to rent with Hertz quite often, the experience were pretty good when I rent from Aylmer or Decaire offices... Cannot agree more with Michal's suggestions in the end.

Their location is very convenient for downtown residents but unfortunately they almost never have cars available on short notice. When they do though, the vehicles are reasonably priced and well maintained.

The car wasn’t ready even after I’d signed the contract for it in the agency, I had to wait for an alternative one to be cleaned and a new contract made before I could get the car. Alternative car did not have a covered trunk so poor for security. I was told LDW not fully included in the rate I paid even though my email confirmation (direct booking with Hertz) said it was paid so I had to pay extra 12 CAD per day, still need to resolve with Hertz. I would be very reluctant to use this company and agency again.

Hertz got addicted to GM and Chrysler, their cars are really idiotic. Can you imagine Chevy Malibu has heated seat but no heated steering wheel? And this location put their cars on the 5th floor underground, you need to spend 5 mins to go up or go down when you pick up or return.

My fault I arrived early as had to check out of hotel. Car booked was not ready. Offered an upgrade to a Tesla explained we were on tour and advised plenty of electric stations on route. Accepted the car only to find out not as many electric stations. As result had to change car in Quebec so we could complete our trip.

Had a very positive experience. The rental car market is difficult right now, and the employees at this location were very knowledgable and experienced. I spoke with Rachel the day before my pickup and she was great to deal with. The next day, Pierry was prepared and knew exactly who I was because Rachel had left detailed notes in my reservation. Between the two of them, they helped me modify my reservation to account for last-minute changes that I needed to make. The entire process could not have been smoother. Rachel and Pierry are both 5-star employees in my book.

My recent rental experience here was perfect. I got a great deal by booking ahead through Priceline, and received great customer service from this Hertz location throughout my reservation. Even though I booked a mid-size sedan online (which was ready to go upon my arrival), I asked for a Kia Soul in person on a whim, and they gave it to me since they fatefully had one available. I returned the vehicle and keys after hours using a dropbox without issues. It took a few days for the deposit hold to clear, and for the final charge to come through on my credit card statement, but all in all it was a seamless experience. Would rent from here again.

They made my reservation, confirmed my reservation, and then the day I am travelling they called me to tell me there is no car.I asked them to help me out as they made the mistake by confirming they had a car when they didn’t.I was told there was nothing they can do. And to call head office.Head office hung up on me after telling me I could fix it myself by going online. Even though the system had a glitch.This cost me $320 extra cash out of my pocket.This company is a bunch of scammers and the employees at this location are incompetent and rude.All I wanted to do was visit my family for Christmas.
