Home Instead

Home Instead care givers were my lifesavers. They provided my father with companionship, prepared his meals, provided him with activities which kept his mind and body alert, they made sure he was safe and happy. They made sure his medications were taken and encouraged him to keep active. He didn't always want to listen but they managed to cajole him into doing what they knew was the best for him. Things like reminding him to use his lift chair to help him get up or to keep his feet raised. He enjoyed their company and they felt like family. They also provided me with the knowledge that if I wasn't there with my Dad I could feel secure in knowing that he was being cared for in a loving and professional way. It gave me time to recharge my batteries and time for my family as well. I don't know if I could have coped as well as I did if it weren't for their caring, knowledgeable expertise. I would recommend them in a heartbeat if you need someone you can trust to be with your family member when you can't be. You know they care when they go and see their clients at the hospital or when they have moved to a facility. They do that on their own time as they connect with them. When someone hired to do a service for a family member asks how are you doing and is there anything I can do for you here" you know they are compassionate people and that is what I got when I contacted Home Instead. I thank them every day for how they treated my father and how they helped our family."

I had the chance to work with Home Instead Senior Care recently in looking after some elderly friends of mine. I can not say enough good things about how they took care of my friends. From the very beginning it was evident that they REALLY CARED about them and were not just 'doing a job' Their caregiver Christine went over and above on many occasions to ensure they were taken care of and their needs met or exceeded. They always had their best interests at heart. Keep up the great work Alistair, Lacy, Christine and the rest of the Home Instead team!!

I highly recommend Home Instead. Both their office staff, and their Home Workers have been amazing in organizing care for my mom. You have to have someone you can trust when you live far away, and over the past 8 years, Home Instead has always been there for me. They came through in many crisis situations, and were reliable on an ongoing basis. The workers often went above and beyond their duties, by making my mom feel like a valued person, not just a job""

Staff are all very attentive and professional. The carers are very pleasant and seem to get along well with my parents.

I would suggest you evaluate your staffs driving skills before you let them drive your elderly clients around. The lady driving the dark Acura car to the Blanshard Save on Foods today is a menace on the roads. She was completely clueless of the people she was putting in danger with her reckless driving. You need to protect your clients.

Home Instead has an amazing team of people.They all care so much for their clients.But just as important is that they care and look after their employees. Alistair , Allen, Lindsay and Scott are always available to listen respond and support us whenever we need them. It is certainly a great place to work!

Excellent place to work!! The office staff are always so supportive, encouraging and positive...especially through these strange Covid times.It feels very rewarding to make a difference in the lives of our seniors.

They staff were very flexible with their hours and my dads needs always came first!

I have found HOME INSTEAD to be compassionate, kind, professional,knowledgeable, honest, from the first contact with the office staff to the workers sent to help with the care of my husband who suffered with Parkinson's, dementia, and all that attends with those diseases. Again all contacts were wonderful for both myself and my husband.

We appreciate the kindness, care and attention given to our dad and our family home. Staff are happy to work with us and communication is excellent. We love the Family Room App. Can’t thank you all enough. My worries are so much lessened.
