Called to see if they had something in stock, and they set it aside for me as I was coming right away. Also , their team installed a new compiset porch and railings on the front of our house, which looks amazing, and we have people ask who did the work. Have recommended them to several people that asked about the work.

The staff here are incredible i was in the store for maybe 3 minutes looking for an air fryer they had on sale. An employee saw me reading the isle info and immediately came to my aid. I've been here many times before and tho they may not have everything I need at the time they always fobthere best to help

Love home hardware. The staff is super personable, and it's super close to home.Honestly, they don't have the selection that Canadian Tire has, however, the products they offer are usually a better quality for the price. I don't mind paying a bit more for something that will last longer. They generally offer many Canadian made things, which I like too.Did I mention the staff? If they can't help find what you're looking for, or at least have some knowledge about it, youre out of luck.

Great place to get everyday stuff in a pinch or materials for projects in Bible Hill / Valley.Friendly staff always there to help you with what you need. The Benchmark and Ridley brands are decent brands for some items unless you desire that Dewalt impact gun for instance. ;)

Having done construction and handyman work over various parts of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, I have NOT had good experiences with Home Hardwares...BUT Adam, at the Contractor's Desk here on Pictou Road is awesome. In fact, he is the main reason that I have switched from other hardware stores to shop almost exclusively at this Home Hardware.The ladies at the cash are also great at what they do.One thing that I do appreciate, that has happened almost every time I have been in this store, is I am greeted by one of the floor staff. I don't usually need any help but it causes me to feel like they are ready to help if I did need them.The warehouse customer service is SUPER. Very accomodating and pleasant.

I've never had a bad customer service experience at a home hardware, but I can't give any home hardware higher than a 2 star. They are always small, never have what you need, prices are not competitive, and I always end up somewhere else.Even the new one at the mall is a two. They claim to be the largest but they still have nothing, the isles are just wider. So same ol' nothing. I went for a storage bin. You'd think that the largest HH would have at least one. Nope.But the real problem is all hardware stores here are terrible. Kent is junk too. Where is home Depot and Lowe's in Atlantic Canada? Yes Halifax has them but one shouldn't have to drive across a province for a decent hardware store.
