Glitter Bean Cafe
An absolute gem of a place. Excellent food, excellent drinks! We had the grilled cheese and the samosa - everything amazing, even their takeout. Chai latte and fairy latte are amazeballs. We'll definitely return and make this a regular stop, even if outside our neighborhood.

Super cute and welcoming café with great drinks. Only reason id give service 4 stars is because I cannot hear a single thing the people a the cash say to me. They seem very nice though!

I really wish I could give Glitter Bean a better rating, as I love their funky social justice and human rights approach, but about half the time I go there it feels like visiting someone’s house but they don’t really care that you’re there. Hard to put it into words really… maybe apathy? Maybe some staff just don’t know what they’re doing? Today it was a tiny, cold, dry cinnamon roll and mugs of herbal tea filled to the top with the bags still in them and not being asked if I want room for dairy. The ambiance was lacking too. I don’t give less than good ratings casually and I’ve held off rating Glitter Bean, but here we are.

As a university student, I'm here pretty often with my friends to study. Amazing vibes, great music, funny baristas, plus there's a thrift store upstairs now. Love having a queer space nearby :)

Comfy, Cozy, Safe.Wonderful quiet atmosphere and a safe space for family and friends.Staff are fantastic and I cant think of a better place to cozy up with a book on a rainy day.

So happy and appreciative to have this cafe in the city! One point of feedback though is that I wish they communicated more when they’re closing early.Not everyone is on socials and most times when they post that there’s an event happening they don’t clarify if the cafe will be closed and when (some events the seating’s stayed opened and others it hasn’t).Putting a sign on the front door or at the register saying they’re closing early and when could help. There’s been a few times I’ve spent over $12 on coffee and a baked good, and then was asked to leave 20 minutes later cause there’s an event.

Had an amazing experience at the Glitter Bean. Wonderful service, great food and drinks.I had the cheese and green onion scone, which is huge, and it was delicious. I also got the Fairy Latte, and it was very good, though it was more about the fancy sparkles.My companions both had the sour cherry lemonade, one flat, one fizzy and both were simply amazing.Will definitely be back to the Glitter Bean!

Super friendly staff, super chill atmosphere, amazing scones and delicious (colourful!) coffee. What's not to love!
