Lindon House

We were going to get married on our deck but a friend told us to check out Lindon House. We went to see Linda and Don and they were amazing. The house and grounds are beautiful.We picked a date which was only 2 weeks away. They arranged everything- the flowers, a caterer for 4 people, my hair and makeup, the marriage commissioner, and the music and photos. The meal was excellent and the caterer was very professional. My hair and makeup were done at Lindon House. We had planned to get married outside but the weather turned bad and within an hour everything was arranged to have it indoors. I got to walk down the aisle and we had a first dance - things I never would have had if we had done it on our deck. They made our day very special and we will be forever thankful.

We chose the Lindon House as our wedding venue in Sept 2017. Suffice to say this is a totally unique and beautiful place. The grounds are kept immaculately, the interior of the house as well as the cottage are not just clean and cozy, but furnished beautifully as well. Linda and Don were accommodating to every request or question we had. They guided us through many of the difficult decisions during the planning phase, offering us advice and suggestions wherever possible.They made sure our day went off without a problem! Our guests were completely looked after, whether it meant tending bar when necessary or communicating with the caterer on our behalf. The experience they bring to the table is completely invaluable.Overall we couldn't be happier with our wedding day. The Lindon House is as beautiful a venue as one can hope for, especially as the sun sets and the lights begin to twinkle in the yard. Moreover our guests were impressed they had as much reign to move freely around the home in all of the beautiful rooms and visit where they felt comfortable! Linda and Don are consummate professionals who obviously have a great passion for their business.

On August 3rd, 2022 my father's Celebration of Life was hosted at the Lindon House. This monumental life-event went perfectly with the assistance and help of both Linda and Don and their recommended vendors.The sprawling space allowed for family members and friends to have big moments, small moments, and to share laughter and their tears. Lindon House's ambiance provided all the comforts of home, serving as a beautiful backdrop in celebrating a man who was well-loved. I would absolutely consider this space for another family event.Thank you Linda and Don for all your time in helping me navigate this event. Your quick responses were so helpful; and we truly felt welcomed.

We had our wedding at the Lindon House and had the best experience possible. Linda and Don made planning the event so easy. It was so convenient to rent everything we needed from them. The backyard is absolutely gorgeous and shaded making the hot summer day feel cool and shaded. Our pictures are amazing with the beautiful garden and as our backdrop- not to mention the cute little church! The house is timeless which our guests loved to visit and I didn’t need to provide any decor with this amazing home. Highly recommend the Lindon House for weddings or any event. I know we will be back for even a birthday party or private event.

Lindon House is one of the most beautiful, unique and intimate venues in the city. The outdoor garden, patios and pool are magical and even more so when the lights go on at dusk! Linda and Don (Lindon!) are such a pleasure to work with. Super helpful and very communicative and accommodating. They have everything you need for a successful event right on site and even help make arrangements with vendors for food, photos, flowers, hair and makeup, and event planners. If you're looking for something very special and unique I can't say enough good things about the venue and Linda and Don themselves!

Lindon House completely exceeded our expectations for a venue. We only saw photos online before we booked, but the photos do not do it justice. The backyard garden and pool were beautiful, and exactly what we were imagining for our wedding. Many of our guests ended up getting in the pool, as it was a scorching hot day! Linda and Don went above and beyond to help us prepare for the day, and coordinate on the day of.One drawback to be aware of: we had to turn the music down around 10pm. This was not too important to us, but the venue would not be conducive to a wedding with a dance party and loud music/DJ.

A great venue for nearly any type of event. We held our wedding at Lindon House and it could not have gone any better. Linda and Don were easy to work with and made the experience enjoyable. Very highly recommended.

Such a beautiful venue! My husband and I got married at the Lindon House in September and it was even more perfect than I could have imagined. We did our ceremony and reception outdoors, and once the sun went down all of the lights in the trees and yard lit up. It made everything so magical!Linda and Don are very friendly and accommodating. They open their beautiful home for guests to wander, and they have a great indoor space for dancing. We also had access to the property and guest house from Friday evening until Sunday afternoon. This made things super convenient because we were able to do our rehearsal and drop off decor the evening before. On the day of the wedding my husband and his groomsmen got ready in the guest house, while myself and my bridesmaids were able to get ready in the main house. This made things run very smoothly for us and the photographer.I'd definitely recommend the Lindon House!

Cannot say enough positive things about Don and Linda, and the magical place called the Lindon House! We got married June 3rd 2017 in the beautiful garden, and I have to say, it was like a fairy tale! The venue is so incredibly beautiful, and with the lights strung up in the the trees, it truly is breathtaking! Don and Linda provide the perfect, laid back, easy going attitude that make planning you wedding an ease. They are super knowledgable regarding different catering options, hair and make up salons, and anything else you so wish desire! As well, finding a venue where we could supply our own liquor was a huge savings! Bryan and I couldn't have been happier with the services provided.
