I love visiting the bookshop. They publish a lot of interesting Canadian books. When you by a book you get a great reusable bag that’s just perfect to carry your lunch (or two bottles of wine) in.

House of Anansi (remember the tales of this brave spider?) Publisher has a store leading to their office. Many of their awards are up for all to see, and you can buy a stack of wonderful books. One of their neighbours is the Nestlé Chocolate factory, but the smell doesn't dare follow you into the sactum sactorum of creative stories.

I just want to say how much I appreciated Paige's recommendations for books via email during this COVID time. I know it takes more work to make electronic correspondence feel so personal and I really appreciate the effort involved. I hope others seek her out as she is a wonderful resource.
